I knew about his problem but I thought he stopped. My heart ached at the sight.
"Jack?"
I said barely above a whisper. His head tilted slowly to the side probably not even bothered that someone was seeing him in such a state. Reality hitting me I kneel down beside him.I've never seen him like this before. He looked horrible, his eyes were red and cheeks stained from tears.
"What happened?" I asked him concern evident in my voice.
"I--I just--it's been so long " he said barely above a whisper. I looked him in the eyes. They were darker than his usual hazel green and it's clear that they're filled with sorrow and regret. Grabbing the razor and cloth that layed next to him,I helped him into the bedroom and onto the bed. I walked back to my room to grab the first aid kit I had.
When I walked back in Jack was in full blown tears,he looked so out of place like he doesn't even belong here. Not like this. I went over to him and he immediately calmed when he noticed the cotton in my hand. As I started to dab the freshly cut wounds,he spoke,
"Please. Please don't say anything " he paused "Kels you can't tell them"
"Don't worry Jack" I said grabbing the bandage and started wrapping it around his wrist where the most damage was done."Wanna talk about it?" I asked. I was the closest with Jack out of the band and he knew everything about me. Well mostly.
"You wouldn't understand"
"Try me" I said rolling up my sleeves.
