Chapter 1 (Alaska's P.O.V.)

Alaska's P.O.V.

Lazily I rolled out of bed, I really didn't want to get out of my bed, midwinter Canada no wolf wants to get out of a warm cocoon of blankets of fur. But I did anyways, I had to train a group of slackers in the pack, I might be an omega but I'm a damn good warrior, I'm no roll over and give in puppy. Sighing I got up and pulled on a tank top and some running pants, not bothering with my hair I simply ran a brush through my dark brown hair and pulled it up into a ponytail. I splashed my face with water then ran downstairs, on my way past the pack kitchen I grabbed an apple from one of the mothers who worked in the kitchen, with a quick thank you I ran outside and took a bite as I waited for my trainees to fill in to the grassy field of the pack houses backyard.

I had just finished my apple as the last of the trainees walked in, the pack slut who was sadly my roommate, a horrid paring really, I mean I would have taken anyone else but nope. Anyways, per usual she had her full makeup on, I mean come on we run a mile every day, honey that's goanna run. I started the group on their stretches as I looked over to make sure everyone was here

'All attendance for training Alpha Kiza.' I mind linked the alpha of our pack.

'As expected, continue on, work on wolf training today please Alaska.'

After the mile was ran I had everyone shift and pair up for an examine of prior skills so I didn't have to waste time with things they already knew, I have better things to do with my time.

'After training I need to see you in my office, I have some important news.' I heard the alpha say in my min

'Will do sir.'

After training the idiots that will be the next generation of warriors I walked to the alphas office, knocking first I walked in and bowed "you summoned me after I was finished with training?" I asked and looked up

"Yes I did I'm glad you came to so quickly, we have important matters to discuss, I'm not going to beat around the bush, I'm sending you to an American pack in an exchange program, I do understand that they conduct in a hot environment, I be live the state of Arizona is where the pack is located." He said while looking up at me, I opened my mouth to protest, hell no, I a thick furred wolf was not meant to live in a hot and dry climate, I would pass out from heat stroke if I was to shift, but the look he gave me killed that protest before it started.

"Yes alpha, when do I leave?" I asked keeping my voice single toned and dull to show my distain for the situation. He let out a long sigh and gave me a soft look.

"tonight young pup, try not to feel so upset, think of this as a chance to meet your mate, your wolf will adjust to the hotter temperatures and you'll be fine" he said softly. I nodded and bowed to my soon to be ex alpha and excused myself out of his office and made my way up to my room.

'Your thoughts on this Rae?' I asked my wolf in my head.

'It could be a good idea Alaska, we can adapt, and press through, and hell, we may even meet our mate'

'I guess you have a point Rae, hopefully this won't backfire, because I swear if our mate id a man I'm going rouge.'

'I highly doubt that, but I agree with that, I don't find male wolves attractive in the slightest, cocky and possessive, dear gods they need to step off, a she-wolf can take care of herself, omega, beta, or alpha, like god, I have class too and I'm faster than their salty asses.' I laughed inside my head at my wolf, god Rae is a great wolf spirit, wouldn't trade her for anything. She went silent in my head, probably going back to napping like the lazy wolf she is sometimes.

Sighing I started to pack up my clothing, an abundance of hoodies and jeans with different colored v necks, looks like I'll be needing to buy some shorts when I get there. I pulled off my shirt and bra getting ready to get in the shower and wash up before heading to the airport, I walked into the bathroom and set out a towel and pulled off my training shorts. Turning on the shower I stepped in and let the water warm up on my skin, after a few relaxing minutes I picked up my citrus shampoo and washed my hair, then moved on to condition it then scrub down my body with the bath wash I bought from bath and body works, gods I love that place.

Getting out I wrapped a towel around my body and walked into my room and over to my dresser, I pulled out a blue v neck and a pair of black skinny jeans, I dried out my hair and ran a brush through it before bulling the brown waves into a pony tail, humming I walked over to my bed and plopped down, I picked up my phone and noticed a text from the alpha 'your mind was closed off and I wanted to inform you that the alpha of the pack that you will be staying with will pick you up at the airport, I really thank you for being so co-operative.'

It really wasn't long till I was going through security at the airport and let me tell you, I got the fucking pervy guard, personal pat down my ass that dick just wanted to feel me up, sucks to be you asshole, I'm gayer then tyler oklay and joey garceffa combined.

'preach it honey' I heard Rae say in my head, I laughed quietly to myself and waited for my number to be called so I could board the damn flying tin can. Once I got on the plane it wasn't too bad I had a window seat and a fully charged phone with my earbuds, so it would be a lovely flight full of fall out boy and Panic! At the disco lyrics.

Authors note: sorry this took forever, school takes the ideas right out of me, I actually had a nearly 2000 word chapter but then I deleted it and rewrote it and here ya lovelies go.
