Chapter 7

This chapter is quite short but from now on they will be getting longer just btw

(Newt POV)

I smooth my hair across and do up my grey tie,smiling slowly as I sit on the cushions on the window ledge. Waiting. Did I really want to go? I had to. Ben wasn't coming,he didn't like these thought of things ,and plus he had a game to go to.

"You'll be okay.." I mutter to myself,looking out the window as I see the street and also my reflection glaring back at me. I slowly crack a smile "Don't frown Newt,someone could be falling in love with your-" I'm cut off when I see Tommy's car. I beam and gently press my hand against the glass "Smile."

(Thomas POV)

I sigh and look at myself once more in the cracked mirror of the car,double checking for the ring in my pocket. Ruffling my hair as I get out,ringing the door bell as Newt answers it. He smiles shyly.

"You coming Newtie?"
"Why not?" He mumbles as he walks to the car. I look at his suit,he looked even more perfect. I help him in as I drive to school. Bright lights and I see all my friends walking in. Like a true gentlemen,I help Newt out,he wipes himself down slowly and just stands there,looking straight ahed.

"I look like I bloody mess.." He mumbles.
"Well I think you look beautiful," I whisper as I hook my arm in his as we walk inside. The loud music playing as Newt walks through the forests of people and sits down. I just stand there-

"You wanna dance?" I ask him as he just looks away
"Pass," he mumbles harshly.
"You know what, let me try that again: Newt, get off your cute little ass and dance with me now."
At that moment I see a small smirk creep across his lips "Interesting tactic, but I'll stick with no."
I gulp and just walk closer "Newt, get up! Okay? You're going to dance with me, I've been in love with you since forever, and I know that you love me too. And I'm also pretty sure that I'm the only one who knows how smart you really are. And that once you're done pretending being a nitwit, you'll eventually go off and write some insane mathematical theorem that wins you the Nobel Prize.

He bites his bottom lip for a few seconds and let's out a happy sigh "Fields Medal."
I raise my brow "What?"
He stands up and walks to me,taking my hands as he looks into my eyes delicately "Tommy,Nobel doesn't have a prize for mathematics. A Fields Medal's the one I'll be winning." He kisses my cheek gently and takes me onto the dance floor.

His arms hold my waist as he sways us gently,I smile and hold his head.

"I love you Tommy.." He smiles.
"I know,I love you too."

I kiss him gently and get down on one knee. The music stops as everyone looks at us,I hold out the ring.

"Newt,I met you when I was six. You were sat there playing on this pink bike which we both rode on. I fell off and cut my leg deeply. We stayed best friends until we were thirteen and we took it further. Newt,you make me happy,you give me hope. You've made me feel so amazing,and if you'll let me,I will spend the rest of my life trying to make you feel the same way. I love you,and I will never let anyone hurt you. I want to marry you,adopt kids with you,and grow old with you. So,Newton Isaac,will you marry me?"

"Yes..." He whispers then raises his voice "Yes!" He jumps into my arms and kisses me hard "I love you so so much Tommy," I slide the ring on his finger as everyone cheers. Minho and Brenda run up to us and hug us so tight. Tears of joy stream down my face. He actually said yes. I was going to spend the rest of my life with the Man I loved more than anything.

(Ben POV-Ikr,weird)

I watch them from the corner. I growl and crunch up my can of beer. Newt had betrayed me,he had to pay the price. I'd hurt everyone he loved. I smirk as I start to make a mental list in my head-

Sonya

Teresa

Brenda

Gally

So many,many more.

"You're going to suffer Newt,just you wait," I hiss and walk off.

He had no idea what was coming..
