I felt sick.
The kind of sick where your head is pounding and your hands are clammy and everything is just wrong. Everyone else was excited,
Maybe it's because i'm the youngest, the last to join the band. I never performed with my sisters in 2006, or 2007. Before the Party In The USA cover. I had gotten through the Meet and Greet fine, meeting the fans one on one was an amazing experience, but now, now i wanted to die. I was strumming my guitar softly, going faster and louder the more nervous i got. "Stop that Dani, you're doing my head in" Lauren complained.
I mumbled a sorry and quickly sat down on the couch when Christina came running in. "Guys! 20 minutes!" Everyone started screaming with excitement and went out the door. I tried calming myself by taking deep breathes. It just made me more nervous.
I stood up and started pacing, rubbing my hands together, when i started feeling dizzy, i started walking back to the couch, but stumbled over someone's bag and fell. My head was spinning and i couldn't get up. "Dani?" I heard a voice, sounding faraway and vague. "H-hel-" i couldn't get the word out, my voice broke and i started sobbing, and mumbling and trying to get up but nothing was working and we had a show in 20 minutes, or was it 2? I felt something touch me and i flinched away, but then the voice was back again and i felt something rubbing my arm and i fell into the touch, and then arms wrapped around me, and the voice kept going, and after awhile i could finally understand what was being said. "It's okay Dani, it's okay." I tried to stop crying. "L-Lisa?" I sounded shaky. "Yeah Dan, it's me" i looked up and saw Lisa, smiling softly. "Lise, the-the show-" i stopped, holding back tears. "Nerves?" She asks quietly. I nod my head and lean back against Lisa. "It's our fans Dani, the ones you met at the meet and greet. The same people you laugh and joke with, no one will judge you. It's like performing in front of friends." Lisa says, running her fingers through my hair. That's true. "You love performing in front of friends, this is the same." I nodded. "You're right, i do love doing that." I mentally winced at how shaky my voice sounded. "C'mon, let's get your makeup fixed." Lisa stood up, helped me up, and then started to walk over to the makeup. "Lise?" I called, walking after her. She turned around. "Thanks." I said shyly. She kissed the top of my head before saying,"Anytime baby girl"
A/N okay this is short as heck but happy birthday to the freakin queen of everything Danielle Nicole Cimorelli!!! And Lisa tweeted Dani happy birthday calling her baby bunny (hit me right in the Disa feels) so i had to make this oneshot a Disa one.
