I woke up around noon the next morning. and go to the kitchen counter and grab myself a donut, and pour myself some orange juice.

I put my music on shuffle and eat my breakfast.

Afterwards, I dig threw some boxes and find a pair of skinny jeans and a simple pink t-shirt. I put them on, throw my hair up into a low pony tail, and make my bed.

I start to unpack my clothes and put them in my drawers and closet.

I need to go shopping before I start work in two days.

My stomach starts to growl half way threw unpacking, so I take a break and decide to drive to the closest shopping center.

When I get to Purple Cow Mall, I find somewhere to eat, than start looking for clothes.

By the time I'm leaving, I have so many bags of clothes, they are over flowing my cart, and I can hardly see over them.

As I'm pushing it outside, some man about my age approaches me asking if I'd like some help.

"oh, yes please. My car is just over there!" I say pointing. A little embarrassed of my rental car, that is very dirty and not that impressive.

"here" he says taking the cart from me, with a smile.

"thank you!" I say.

"don't mention it." He smiles.

I walk next to him as he pushes my cart to my car. As we approach it, I open the trunk and he helps me load everything in.

"so are you new here?" He asks.

"yea, I just got here yesterday, and start my new job monday so I decided I needed new clothes." I say.

"well I can tell that!" He chuckles.

"yea." I laugh a little.

"so I'm guessing you haven't been to the beach yet?" He asks, putting the last couple bags in. I shut the trunk and shake my head.

"I was going to go last night, but took an unexpected nap and didnt wake up till late." I explain.

"would you like to go now?" He smiles, leaning against my car.

I thought about it, for a minute. And realized I haven't even really looked at this man.

He could be some wack-job wanting to rape me.

Or someone wanting to rob me.

Or so many things.

But he is none of those.

Or at least he doesn't look like any.

He has short brown hair, blue eyes that look like fresh water, ready for someone to come and swim in. He was wearing a pair of jean shorts and a red shirt. He has a necklace with a shark tooth around his neck and a black hat on his head.

He was cute, I had to admit it.

"Sure," I smile. "I'm Jess by the way."

"Oh duh." He laughs. "I'm Stephen."

I smile and chuckle a bit.

"My truck is right over there, Ill come around and you can follow me there, or you can leave your car here and come with me, and we can get your car later. Whatever your like." He offered.

I thought for a minute.

"I'll follow you there, if that's okay." I decide.

"Of course. Here," He motioned for me to follow him.
