"Inside of You"

"Inside of You"

“A picture is worth a thousand words,”

Everyone constantly reminds me.

But what if I can only think of one?

The light violet sky gleams against the dark woods,

The black trees. Mysterious.

The water glows purple, reflecting the sky’s perfect radiance. Uplifting.

The water surrounds a small spot of land. Wanting.

I want to go to that small spot of land. Badly.

I want to sit there and admire the violet sky,

To wonder what wanders among those dark mysterious trees.

To play with water in my hand.

To lay back on the soft earth, and just dream.

I want to go to this place.

This safe haven, protecting my soul from the evils of the world.

The place where dreams really can come true-

If you care to lay down on the ground

And allow any dream that comes to your mind

To live inside of you- to come alive,

Inside of you.
