"Smile"
The sky is cold and gray
And the water seems to reflect that sadness
Something sad must’ve happened.
Everyone is sad.
You can tell by their faces.
Someone beloved must have passed.
A cherished friend must’ve left.
Why is this place so sad?
How can something sad make everything so dark and gloomy?
And-wait! What is that? Is that, the sun?
Yes! The sun is shining through,
Shining brighter than the stars,
The sun is shining through
Everyone is smiling,
Probably beginning to realize,
That they shouldn’t cry because everything is wrong,
They should smile because it all gets better from here.
They shouldn’t cry because they can’t see their someone beloved ever again,
They should be glad that they lived, and is now in a better place.
That you shouldn’t cry because it’s over
You should smile because it happened.
