The Breaking

(1 week later)

I wake up in my warm comfy bed, i hear shouting from down stairs "what on earth is going on?!" i shout when i get down stairs, i see Edward and Bella arguing "go upstairs!" Bella shouts and i shrink back, "o-okay" i say shakily and run upstairs, i close my bedroom door and sink to the floor and start crying because Bella would never shout at me, i cry until my eyes sting, i get up and make my way to my dresser and put on comfy clothes (outfit at the top) i leave my hair down and then look in the mirror and see my eyes are puffy and i have blood shot eyes, i sigh and walk back down stairs to see a smirking Bella and a Sad Edward "what happened?" i ask shakily, they look at me "we broke up now I'm of to see Jake make sure you cook dinner" she says and walks out, i sniff and i feel a single tear fall from my eye i feel a cold hand wipe the tear away "have you been crying?" Edward asks, i look up and see him frowning "yeah Bella has never shouted at me" i say my voice breaking, he pulls me into a hug, i wrap my arms around his torso and he wraps his arms around my shoulders.

"Don't cry Kendal"he whispers "i can't help it she's never been mean to me" i whisper into his chest "your beautiful don't cry" he says and i blush, "wanna hang out?" he says pulling away, i nod and grab his hand and go to the living room "we can watch Maze Runner" i say popping the DVD in the t.v, "i love that movie" he says smiling "I'm getting popcorn" i say and go into the kitchen to get the popcorn, after i make the popcorn i walk back to the living room, i see Edward and give him a smile.

We watch Maze Runner and i ate all the popcorn, i turn to Edward and we talk about what we like to do for fun" i play the piano" he says smiling "me to" i say putting my hands on my knees, i hear the door open and i see Bella walk in holding hands with Jake "Kendal where's dinner?!" she screeches "that's it" i say angrily and me and Edward get up and walk to the kitchen "why didn't you make dinner?" she says angrily "I've had enough of your shit today make your own okay?" i say angrily, i see Jacob growl and Edward smirk "don't talk to me like that" she exclaims "your not my mom, you cant tell me what to fucking do" i exclaim "you tell her" Edward whispers in my ear.

"Why are you so close to her?!" she screeches "were best friends" Edward says angrily "i know her better then you" Bella says angrily "oh yeah did you know that Jared ran his car straight into the back of her and she was in the hospital?!" he says walking forward, i grab his arm pulling him back a bit, tears sting my eyes "lets go" i hear Jake whisper, they start walking to the front door "wait! Where's dad?" i ask, "Business trip for 2 weeks bitch" she says and walk out smirking, "am i a bitch?" i ask tears streaming down my face as i sit on a counter "no your not a bitch" he says and stands between my legs wrapping his long cold arms around my waist, i wrap mine around his neck and put my hands in his hair "thank you" i whisper into i shoulder "what for?" he whispers into my hair "for being my best friend" i say blushing, we pull away and he puts both of his hands on the side of my face and wipe away the stay tears "thank you for being my best friend" he say hugging me again, *bang*we jump at the sound, i look out side and see fireworks.

"Why is Bella acting this way?"i ask "She has been cheating on me with Jacob for about a year" he says looking down, but when i looked down he was looking at my legs, since he was still stood between my legs "that's awful" i say putting a hand over my mouth "i know but i don't care anymore, she hurt you and that's what i care about" he says smiling at me "i thought that Bella was your mate" i say confused "she isn't my mate, Jacob imprinted on her after he changed" he says looking at me, i come of the counter so we are pressed against each other "I'm gonna make dinner" i say and start making lasagne, "okay" he says and watches me make dinner.

After i make dinner and eat my slice of lasagne i put the rest in the fridge as left over's, "wanna hang out for a bit?" Edward says smiling, i nod and we watch the hunger games, *Slam* we hear the door slam shut, we look at each other frowning as we got up walking to the door to see Bella and Jake "i thought you would of left" Bella says to Edward "no i didn't i stayed with Kendal" he says wrapping his hand in my warm hand, "why are you guys so touchy touchy together?" Jacob says looking at me like a piece of meat, Edward sees me looking uncomfortable and pulls me behind him "don't look at her like that" Edward growls at Jacob, "you don't scare me leach" Jacob growls back "shut up mutt" i say peaking my head from behind Edward "shut up Kendal your just a mistake that's a slut and no one likes you" Bella says and Jacob bursts out laughing "get out" Edward growls, "Bella if you want you can move in with me Dad wont mind" Jacob says smirking "I'd love to" she says kissing his cheek and they run upstairs to pack her things.

"Kendal?" Edward says turning to me worried, i feel tears fall rapidly down my cheeks "why would she say that?" i say when he pulls me into his chest for a hug "i don't know but your not at slut or a mistake, your perfect" he says smiling "thank you" i whisper in his chest, i hear them walk down the stairs, i pull back and Edward wraps his large hand in my small hand, "I'll be leaving bye slut" Bella says and walks out with a laughing Jacob.

"I'm gonna head to bed" i say wrapping my arms around Edwards waist "okay I'll see you later and remember your perfect" he says kissing the top of my head "bye Edward" i say smiling while pulling back, he smiles and leaves, i go upstairs and climb into bed.

After 30 minutes I hear a tapping on my window, i look over to see Edward smiling, i get up and open the window letting him come in, "if your staying your cuddling" i say tiredly dragging him to my bed and climb in pulling a chuckling Edward behind me, he pulls me onto his chest holding me close "sleep Kendal" he whispers and strokes my hair that i had taken out, i fall into a dreamless sleep with my hand wrapped in Edwards black shirt.
