Chapter 9

Karlie POV

Dylan. My controlling, abusive and cheating ex-boyfriend.

"Wow I haven't seen you in forever karlie!" He says while walking towards me.

"Stay the fuck away from me." I say while pulling myself closer into matts side.

"Awe but babe." Dylan whined with a smirk.

I could feel Matt tense up beside me when Dylan said babe.

"I miss you. Can't I have a hug?" He asks.

"No." I say and pull matt with me past Dylan, making sure to bump shoulders with him as I do.

Everyone gave me confused looks as I walked past them including Kendall and Kylie. I never told anyone about what Dylan did to me because he said he would make me watched as he raped all of my sisters and kill them. I can't have that happen so I just live with the pain and accept what happened. If I wouldn't have been so stupid and fell for his bab boy ways I would probably be living a happier life.

Once we were all in the building I began to realize it was Dylan's dads company. 'Thomas Enterprise'. Yep, dylans last name is Thomas. Dylan Thomas. That's such a boring name.

"Karlie?" I hear a firmiliar male voice call.

"Stan. How are you?" I ask with a kind smile as I hug him.

"I'm good. And you? How is you singing career going?" He asks kindly.

See dylans dad is the nicest man alive. If only Dylan were as kind.

"It's going really good. I'm currently working on doing a cover of 'I will always love you' By Whitney Houston." I say with a proud smile.

"I can't wait to hear it." He says. "Is this your new boyfriend?" Stan asks referring to Matt.

"Yep his name is Matthew Espinosa." I say.

"Oh I know who you are. Aren't you a viner and YouTuber?" He asks.

"Yes sir." Matt says.

"That seems like that would be a fun way to make a living. You seem to be very successful at it." Stan says with a chuckle.

"Yeah its amazing how far I have come since the day I started vine." Matt says with a sweet smile.

"Well keep at it. You're gonna go places kid." Stan says while shaking his hand.

"Thankyou sir." Matt says.

"No problem. I have to get to a meeting bit it was nice meeting you Matt and it was nice seeing you again karlie." Stan says as he hugs me and shakes Matt's hand again.

"It was nice meeting you too sir." Matt says.

Stan quickly nods before making his way out of the front of the building and to his awaiting limo.

"He's a really nice man." Matt says.

"Yeah, only if Dylan took after him." I say with an eyeroll.

"Are you guys coming?" Cameron calls to us from down the hall.

"Oh yeah. Sorry." I say with a giggle as I jog to Cameron.

"No problem hun." He says.

Matt and I quickly take a seat next to one another as everyone else fills in around the table.

"So what are we doing here?" Sammy asks with slight annoyance.

Ever since he seen matt and I holding hands he has been all moody. I'll have to talk to him about it.

"Well Kylie and Kendall wanted to start a fragrance line so we are here to talk about names and when they will start testing different smells." Dylan says as he motions for two men in suits to come into the room.

Both men take sets next to Dylan and begin to do stuff on their laptops.

"Steve will be taking notes of what Kylie says and Ken will be taking notes of what Kendall says." Dylan says. "It's a shame you didn't do your fagrence through our company karlie.we could have caught up on stuff we have missed in one another's lives." He says as he bites his lip and looks at me with lust in his eyes.

Don't get me wrong. Dylan is hot as hell but I like matt alot more and not to mention he is sweet, caring, considerate, and not a cheating basterd. Well we just started dating but he doesn't seem to be one.

"How about you focus on Kylie and Kendall and stop flirting with my girlfriend." Matt says.

Dylan doesn't say anything he just looks at Matt with an annoyed look before rolling his eyes and turning his attention back to my sisters.

For the rest of the meeting matt would not move his arm from my waist, and I was perfectly fine with that. All sylan did the whole meeting was flirt with my sisters and even Faith. I mean if I seen Faith with a big dude like gilinsky shoot I would not fuck with that. That is asking to be murdered. All Faith did was give him uninterested looks and kiss gilinsky when she caught Dylan looking at her. You know how hard it was not to laugh at how pissed Dylan was getting? It was the funniest thing I have ever seen in my entire life. At the end of the meeting faith and I walked out to the car while talking about how pissed and annoying Dylan was. Once we got in the car and the doors were closed Faith looked at me with a seriously look.

"Now what is your past with Dylan?" She asks me.

"I can't tell you." I say while looking down. "I would if I could but if I do I put my family in danger." I say while looking up at her with the most sincere face I could pull without breaking down into tears.

"It's ok girl. I understand. I have a crazy ex-boyfriend too." She says then rolls her eyes.
