Chapter 13

Karlie POV

I slowly open my eyes and feel arms tightly wrapped around my waist. I begin to smile but soon stop when I realize that it is not Matt's arms around me but they are Shawn's.

"Morning." I hear Shawn mumble.

"Morning." I say while rolling over and sitting up.

"Wait come back. Let's take a picture together for Instagram so our relationship looks more realistic." He says.

I roll my eyes before turning back to him and cuddling up into his side. I'm not gonna lie, being this close to Shawn feels amazing. He tightly wraps his arm around my waist and burries his face into my neck while I fake smile. He takes a pic like that then we take another where I am kissing his cheek, then we take one where he is kissing mine.

I then stand up from the bed and walk into the bathroom that is attached to our room.

"You guys want to go to the beach with Gilinsky and I?" Faith asks.

"Sure lets go." I say while walking into the room and looking through my suitcase for a bathingsuit.

I soon find an outfit and a bathingsuit I want to wear so I walk to the bathroom and change. As I am changing I sing the lyrics of my new song 'Hello'. (A/N: I know adel sings this song but for this chapter it is karlies new song)

"Wow those are some powerful lyrics." Shawn says while stepping into the bathroom.

"Yeah, I just wrote it last week." I say while brushing my hair.

"Listen I really don't want us to be fighting this whole vacation. Can we please just get along. I know I'm probably not your favorite person to be around but I really don't want to go through this vacation knowing that everytime you smile it is fake. So please can we put everything behind us and enjoy this vacation?" Shawn asks.

"Yeah, I would like that." I say with a small smile.

"Thank god!" He says while pulling me into a tight hug.

I couldn't help but giggle as he hugged me. All of a sudden I hear my phone ringing. I quickly take off out of the bathroom and see Matt is calling me.

"Hey babe." I cheer through the phone.

"Hey baby girl. I miss you so much!" He says.

"I miss you more." I say while sitting down.

"Impossible." He says. "So how is the trip so far?" He asks.

"Good I guess. We are getting ready to go to the beach." I say.

"Oh, cool." He says. "Also ummm, I seen your Instagram post." Matt mumbles.

"Baby, I'm so sorry I know it must hurt you to see that but I promise you if I didn't have to I wouldn't be doing this. If you want I will take it down right now." I say.

"No, no. It's OK. You have to do this for your career." He says.

"Baby... I miss you." I say as tears come to my eyes.

"Me too babe." He says as his voice cracks. "But I will see you in 6 days." He says.

I couldn't help but smile and look up from the ground to see Shawn has just exited the bathroom.

"Hey babe I have to go to the beach now but I will call you later. Love you." I say.

"I love you more baby." He says.

"Impossible." I softly say with a smile beforing hanging up.

"You ready?" Shawn asks.

"Yeah lets go." I say.

When Shawn and I make it to the door we see gilinsky holding Faith against the door in a makeout session. Can anybody say awkwardddd!

"Huhem." Shawn clears his throat.

"Wha- oh sorry." Gilinsky mumbles as he blushes along with Faith.

"Alright love birds lets go." I say while grabbing Shawn by the arm and pulling him out of the door.

Once we reach the back exit of the hotel that leads to the beach Shawn grabs my hand and pulls me on the beach causing me to squeal.

"Shawn, hold on." I yell with a giggle.

"No come on. I want to swim." He says with a laugh.

"At least let me getbmy shirt and shorts off." I say with a smile.

"Finnne." He groans.

'Maybe Shawn isn't all that bad.' I think to myself as I take my cropped tanktop ooff along with my shorts.

Shawn then throws me over his shoulder causing me to laugh and runs to the water and dives in. (I'm about to diiivvvee iinnn) I can tell paparazzi are taking pictures but I don't care.... I mean that is what is supposed to be happening while we are on this vacation.... Right?

"Hey karlie!?" Faith yells.

"Yeah?" I yell back.

"You alittle wet." She yells sarcastically causing me to laugh.

"Oh shut up." I say with a giggle as Shawn and walk around in the crystal clear water.

"It's so beautiful here." I say.

"I remember how you said you loved it here so I figured I would tell our managers to send us here." Shanw says causing me to smile at how he remembered.

"Well thankyou Shawn." I say.

"No problem." He says.

He then mischeviously smirks and turns towards me.

"What?" I ask getting alittle scared and confused.

"This." He says before splashing me with water causing me to gasp.

"Oh its on mendes." I say while splashing him back.

We then have a splashing war till I take off towards the beach with Shawn following. Apperentally I wasn't going fast enough because Shawn wrapped his arms around my waist from behind and lifted me up in the air causing me break out in fits of laughter. He then sets me back down and I turn around in his arms while still laughing. After rmy laughing dies down I notice Shawn internally staring into my eyes. His eyes then flicker down to my lips as my eyes do the same to him. We both then slowly start leaning in till our lips are only centimeters away. Shawn then smashes our lips together. I couldn't help but kiss back immediately. I've missed the feeling of his lips on mine.

Oh no.... I'm doing exactly what Matt told me not to do... I'm falling for Shawn again...
