"HAPPY 4th BIRTHDAY ABIGAIL AND AUGUST!" I kissed my babies all around their faces.

"Thank you mommy" they said in unison.

"Soo open your gifts!" I yelled excitedly

They both opened theors and a big smile grew to their faces.

"THANK YOU MOMMY!" Abigail ran to me and jumped in my arms and planted kisses on my face. She had a few barbie dolls in one box.

"Mommy Thank you!" August kissed me. He had a mini guitar. This boy loves music.

"Guys mommy has been with you all day, its time for work, I promise when I come back I'll spend all my time with you okay loves?" I squeezed them in a hug.

"But mommy" Abigail started tearing up.

"Please dont go" August cried

"Now yall gonna make me cry"

"Mommy!" Abigail cried

"Okay here's a promise I'll call auntie Ashanti to take care of you while im gone for four hours.

"Okay mommy you better remember" August said

"Alright dad" I pinched his cheek. They laughed.

"Mommy" Abigail called

"Yeah sweetie?"

"Why didn't daddy come to our birthday?" My whole heart stopped and I breathed heavier. The room got dizzy and I quickly took a seat.

"Mommy you okay?' August held my hand.

Since I kicked Anthony out four years ago I never heard or seen him. I try to avoid everything that has to deal with him. Whenever he's mentioned I get these fast paced heart beats that causes my breathing to shorten due to stress.

Now that Abigail brought it up it hurts me even more because she wants to see her daddy and I cant make it happen.

"Baby girl daddy is just very busy and never has time to come home. I promise you two one day he will"

"Okay mommy!" I kissed them and the doorbell rang.

"T!"

"Girl where my god kids at?"

"In the kitchen"

"Good" she shoved past me and into the kitchen.

"Aunty T" they hugged her

"My babies! Happy birthday! You want ice cream?!"

"Yes!"

"Lets go"

"Ashanti thank you I'll be back from work at 5"

"Okay bye girl" I hugged her and got my things and left.

I decided to get the twins a few more gifts for their birthday after work so I went to footlocker.

"Do you have these in a kids size?" I asked the girl while holding up two pairs of breds 13 black and red.

"Yeah sure" she went to the back and came back with the shoes.

"Can I get two boy and girl?"

"Kids?"

"Yeah my two little angels"

"I have one" she handed me the shoes and I left.

"Abby! August!?" I yelled

"Bree chill they sleeping" Ashanti whispered

"Ok well I got them these" she looked in the bag.

"Omg thats nice but...where's mine?" She got a straight face.

"Your birthday was two month's ago"

"Mhm, well I gotta go my husband waiting" she hugged me and left.

A year ago Adam purposed to Ashanti and they had their wedding.

I went into the twins room and saw them sleeping my angels.

I kissed them and went to my room

I just wish he was here for it.
