Skeletal hands, reach for the sky
grasping in darkness, refusing to die
Snapping of jaws, clicking of teeth
thirsty for blood, hungry for meat
unseeing eyes stare blankly ahead
filling survivors with unnatural dread
growls of hunger, snarls of rage
these forsaken children, never to age
frozen forever, unable to change
even when dead, they remain the same
corpses decay, bones start to rust
ashes to ashes and dust to dust
wither away, rot in the earth
forever alone, not knowing your worth
moan in the silence, darkness will reign
you are not here, but the body remains
tear out my heart, swallow my screams
dyeing the ground with unfullfilled dreams
you've ended my life
but the hunger remains
welcome to hell
and drown in your shame
