The Magic of Spring

Glittering white flakes, melting into,

Sparkling clear puddles and glittering dew

Birds chirping and the buzzing of bees

Trees laden with the budding of leaves

Warm evening air, rich with the smell,

Of honey and pollen, you know so well

Raindrops, snowflakes on my tongue

Snowing, raining, all day long

The green blanket that warms the Earth

Under my feet, more than money's worth

Oh, what will I do without you

Early Spring I need you too

If the world was without you here

Winter, Summer, and Fall will not bear

Oh, the best season of all

Spring without you, we would fall
