I stood up on my chair and tied the rope around my neck. As I counted down the seconds I had left I heard the front door slam open as Jesse screamed my name. I kicked the chair out from underneath me as I took my last breath to say "Goodbye." Alex turned sixteeen today. Didn't even get to graduate, didn't get to drive, didn't go to prom, didn't get married, he still had a whole life ahead of him. When Jesse ran into Alex's room he dropped to his knees. His best friend. His crush. His everything was just hanging there. Jesse saw the note and unfolded it as a tear hit the paper. As he started reading it his tears increased leaving the paper wet with the ink smudged making it hard to read.
