What is happening? Okay... I just heard the weirdest sound. I'm apparently home alone. Or at least I thought I was... I heard a girl sneeze. I thought I heard it in the basement, so I went down there and there was nothing there, but I felt something looking at me. Eh whatever. I'm sure it's nothing.
Three hours later, and I hear the sneeze at least three more times. What is even going on? I keep hearing it in the basement. I go down one more time, and I think I see something whiz past me.. Which reminds me.. Why is my mom always coming down here? She stays down here for hours at a time. I always thought she was working on a project, but now that I think of it, why wouldn't she just work in her office? Okay this house is getting so weird lately since the anniversary of my sisters death. I'm starting to get scared and I want my mom to come home already. I called her and told her something weird is happening in the basement, and she starts freaking out and telling me she needs to talk to me. I don't know whats going on, but I want it to be over.
My mom got home about ten minutes later, and she tells me to go sit on the couch. I'm really nervous. I hope I'm not in trouble.
"Okay so I really need to tell you something.. The thing in the basement is..."
