today i went to the joke shop. george had to reopen, and i stepped up to help run it. it was pretty hard, and i can't help but feel like i'm taking your place. you were supposed to run the joke shop with george until you grew old. you were supposed to come home to me and tell me about your day, about the kids who entered the shop.
you were supposed to stay with me, and it's so unfair.
i know it's selfish of me to want you to still be here, but i can't help it. you kept me going, and with you gone, everything just seems foreign.
