Regina's POV
Three Months Later..It's been three months and Robin and I haven't talked at all. He's tried to contact me but I don't ever respond because it hurts to even think about him. He's knocked on the door a couple times begging me to talk to him and I still refused. I sit at my table eating leftover lasagna I had made for myself. Ever since Robin and I stopped talking it's like I've returned to my old life where is was just Netflix and Wine. I finished up my lasagna and threw it away in the trash and headed to my front door. I stepped outside and went to my mailbox.
"Regina?!" A voice said delicately but loud. Robin.
My eyes widened as I realized who it was..
"Hi.." I said awkwardly turning to him.
"Hi? Regina why have you been avoiding me?" Robin asked approaching me from across his lawn.
I sighed.
"I haven't just been avoiding you Robin.. I've been avoiding everybody." I admitted.
"Well I think we should talk, we have some catching up to do.." Robin suggested.
"I don't think that's a good idea." I replied looking at the ground.
"I do. You don't even miss when we were friends?" He asked.
My heart sank and all of our memories we shared together invaded my brain. The first time we met, the wine and everything, everything was perfect, when he was the only one who truly cared about my birthday even when he barely even knew me, the fact he was actually listening when I told him what music I was into, when we kissed for the very first time making me feel on top of the world, and when I almost lost him, the man I loved with all my heart, and finally when he chose me.. Damn this man really did something to me.
"Robin.." I said overwhelmed with all my emotions which made my legs weak.
He finally took his final step towards me and wrapped his warm arms around my back. My tears fell on his shoulder and he sniffled. He was really crying too.
"I love you." He said through his breaking voice.
We both released from our hug and I looked into his teary eyes.
"Robin, I love you too." I said wiping a tear from his eye and kissing his cheek.
"But your wife.." I added in a whisper.
"I don't love her Regina, I've been over her for the longest time." He admitted taking my hand that was placed on his cheek.
"I'm sorry." I said.
"No, I'm sorry." He replied crashing his warm lips onto mine. I missed his taste so much that I wanted more. I kissed him back even more passionate than ever and moments later I realized where this would go if we didn't stop.
"We really shouldn't be.. We shouldn't.." I trailed off getting distracted by his kisses everywhere. I put my hand on his right shoulder in sign for him to stop.
"Robin, I know we both love each other but you need to tell your wife if you really want to be with me." I said.
"I will, I promise, I just missed you so much I thought you hated me." He replied.
"I couldn't hate you if I tried." I admitted with a small chuckle.
He smiled and nodded.

Robin's POVI went inside her house and everything had been the way I last saw it, nothing at all was different. The last couple weeks I had been pretending to love Marian and secretly thinking about Regina in my sleep, it has been quite hard. I saw Regina make her way into the kitchen so I followed.
"So, how's the last two months been?" Regina asked grabbing a glass of wine.
"It's been hell without you I'm not kidding." I said as she poured the wine into two glasses.
"I guess I could say the same." Regina replied giving me a glass with a small smile.
"To emotions!" I cheered as our wine glasses clinked and we both took a sip.
"Mm, haven't had this since-" She paused.
"Since we first met." She finished.
"Wow." I said with a chuckle.
She laughed a little bit.
"Can I thank you for a second?" She asked moving the wine away from her and sitting next to me.
"You don't need to thank me Regina I-"
"Your wrong." She cut me off with a frown.
"Before we met, I wasn't loved by a single soul, the lonely nights were awful when my son moved out and I felt like giving up every single second of each day, nobody really cared about me at all. When I first met you the only thing I needed was your smile, when you smiled at me for the first time that had made my night, I know you think you don't deserve a thank you at all but the truth is you do, you are the most polite, caring, and loving person I've ever come across, there aren't any words to describe how much I love you. So, thank you Robin, for everything." She said with so much love in her eyes.
"Your welcome Regina, and I would do anything to make the woman I love the most, happy." I replied placing my hand on hers.
"And I promise you that I will tell Marian, I will tell her how I moved on and how I've fallen in love with you, I really hope she will understand." I added.
"I hope she will too." Regina said.
"Come here." I said bringing her into another hug.
This time her arms wrapped around me too and my face dug into her black, soft, thin hair on the top of her head. My arms traveled up her back and her hands came to my neck as we released from our her hug her lips crashed into mine and it became long and passionate. Her hands traveled up my chest as I felt her get a grip of my shirt. I was just wanting to touch her also but I didn't want do something she wasn't ready for. The kiss became intense and I was so tempted to pleasure this woman.
"I won't do anything that you're not ready for." I whispered softly in her ear.
"I know you won't, and that's exactly why you're going to hate me." Regina teased grabbing ahold of my collar.
I moved her hips towards the large couch. God I was more than tempted I was about to start begging to touch her. She tore off my buttoned shirt and her hands explored my bare chest.
"Regina, can I.." I asked just as tempted to lose control.
She nodded as I went to take off her shirt. Her mouth came close to my ear.
"I'm ready." She whispered with such intensity in her voice.
And just like that, I lost my patience.
