"okay so you just, go around breaking hearts just to see what is inside" blasted in my ear as Carmen approached me.

"Babe?"
"Yes"
"Happy valentines day!"

Everyone else in school had their gift from their Valentine. But where's mine? No. Material things are definitely not the root of a relationship but it's the thought that counts right?

"Thanks Baby" I said as I returned to my music and my note pad in my phone.

Feeling sad.. Won't dwell on it much though.. As long as she appreciates her gift and it makes her smile, that's fine by me 2/14/13.

"Carmen, there's something for you in your locker"

Her concentration was on the girl sitting in the other room. It took me what seemed like days to get her attention as much as the next person, but that's okay.

"MOM" I screamed as I entered the house to see a rose and teddy bear on the front table.
My mother who doesn't even have a stable boyfriend gets a Valentines gift and I don't?
What is this world coming to?

Our four month celebration is approaching. But how can one be happy when it's already been hell?
Controlling, unfair, betrayal.

Relationships are full of trial and error but what if there's only one person making all the errors and the other left to take that person to trial?

I was only fourteen when I introduced Carmen to my mom, I was completely terrified but she was really understanding.

"I have my report ca- "door bell rings

"Umm yes?"

"Hi Tehlia, is your mom home?"

A man with a oddly bald head insisted he come into my home. How does he know my name? Who is he?

"Tehlia, honey can you grab my purse? I'll see you later"

"But mom I-"
Door slams shut

Sat in my room on Valentines day once again, just like any other year but this time I actually had a girlfriend. Strange right?

I'm really hesitate when it comes to social media, there's nothing really there but people broadcasting their business and an audience waiting for a show that some idiot is bound to give them.
  I opened the app out of curiosity just to see a post that sickened my brain, causing my body to feel uneasy.
