It's about time someone wrote this
I see all these candidates, all these republicans and democrats
Independents and liberals, and some are just sick of that
All the black people wanna vote for the democrat
And all the white people wanna go republican
Now let me start off by saying I don't agree with these assumptions
Everyone can vote however they want, hoping that this country itself doesn't fall into corruption
Listen up, everyone who plans on voting
And even the people against should pay attention, like I got a podium
Politicians are snakes, they're conniving, diving, and smiling when they get their way
And most of the time, their way isn't the best way
Some people vote on race, others vote out of habit
But how should we really be voting for president? Who should have it?
Now listen, I'm not telling you what to do at all
But you shouldn't choose a leader that makes himself feel big and you small
Y'all dont like Donald Trump because he talks too much
But if you voting Ben Carson, the man doesn't talk enough
And honestly, the thing that I'm most overjoyed about
Is that Obama is out, America pout
Because every time there's a change, the people in America's reactions range
What are we offended by today, US?
Not a shot to everybody but the majority is
All I'm saying is, dont vote for them because of their religion, that's not considerate
If you elect a president just because he's a Christian but he sucks at all else
Why would you vote for him if the man has to make a decision for the whole country? Why else?
If Jesus Himself was walking this earth, He'd be wiser than wise
So you'd vote for Him, because He genuinely seeks the Father Eyes
But Hes also perfect, so His judgement is righteous
There are no righteous men, but pick the closest despite this
Don't just follow the rolling tide, Alabama
Then you may just end up with authority who abuses it, something like tama
Have real reasons why you're casting your vote
Don't be shallow like some churches west of Detroit
So dear Mr President, I hope you're picked right
You got a whole country to handle, so you better treat it right
