Chapter 16 - Spiders
* Sienna's POV *
"Finally, you're both here." Mr. Thorne spoke, as soon as me and Aidan entered the detention room. "I assume you have had your lunch, right?" He asked. We both nodded our heads.
"Good." He smiled. "Anyway, Principal Dean thought it wouldn't be a good punishment for you two to just be sitting in here. So, he gave me a list of things he want's both of you to do. The first thing on the list is to clean the sport's closet." He informed us.
"What? No way!" We shouted.
"Sorry guys. It's not up to me." He shrugged, apologetically.
I sighed and went to pick up my bag. Once I got my bag, me and Aidan walked out of the classroom.
"This is all your fault." I muttered.
"No. It's not!"
"Yeah. It is!" I yelled.
"Your the one who put chocolate milkshake in my hair!"
"Only cause you chucked an orange at me!"
"Yeah, because you kicked me. Hard." He glared.
"Whatever, Mr. Gangleader." I said, blowing a raspberry at him.
"Very mature." He said, sarcastically. I didn't respond to that, which made the rest of the way to the sport's closet quiet. We walked in and I was shocked. It was a mess. I'm not even exaggerating. Everything was on the floor.
"Wow." I said. Walking to put my bag down behind the door, whilst trying not to trip on anything. Aidan did the same.
"Ok, so you do that side of the room and I do this side?" I quizzed, pointing to the left and then to the right.
"Seems fair." He replied, nodding. I smiled and started cleaning my side. The quicker we got this messy room cleaned, the quicker we can go. I picked all the bibs up and folded each one neatly and put them back on the shelf. From time to time, I looked at Aidan to check if he was cleaning and he was, surprisingly. He was currently putting all the footballs back into the basket. I chuckled quietly and carried on cleaning.
A couple of minutes later, I felt something hard hit my head. I looked down to see a football and then I looked at Aidan to see he was smirking. I picked the ball up and threw it at him, aiming for his face, but unfortunately he caught it. He laughed and chucked it at me again and I moved out of the way, just in time. I got the ball and aimed it at him again. For the next 10 minutes, we carried on chucking the ball at each other but stopped when we heard a voice.
"What's going on in here?" The voice asked. Me and Aidan froze, dropping the ball we were about to launch at each other. We, slowly, turned around and saw Mr. Thorne.
"Oh...uh..hi sir." I smiled awkwardly, waving at him.
"You two are meant to be cleaning, not making a bigger mess." He scolded us, ignoring me.
"Sorry. We got a little distracted." I said.
"Yeah, I can see. Now get back to cleaning, please." He said, leaving the room. As soon as he walked out, me and Aidan looked at each other before laughing.
