When it Started

Hi, my name is Toby, I'm 16 years old and here is my story of how I got "insane."

I was in school, at 3rd period -English- I was reading a book my friend recommended for me, it was "The Wounded Spirit" I liked it very much, especially the 1st chapter. Anyways, I was needed to go get a drink of water so I got up -still reading the book- and as I was reading and walking when all a sudden, the entire words on the book vanished, and the only words on the book were "Watch your back kid" as I saw those words, I blinked my eyes twice, thinking that it was just imagination, but when I did I got really dizzy, and I started moving side to side, feeling like I'd pass out, when I was a foot away from the floor, I saw a girl come to me and save my head from the hard ground.

When I woke up I was in a hospital, with a girl next to me - the one who saved me from falling on the floor- she was looking at her phone, she had black hair, blue eyes, and really pale skin -which I liked- I thought she was beautiful, so I asked," what's your name," she looked up from her phone, the bright screen made her eyes glow, she replied," oh..m-my name?" I nodded, and she replied," my name is Danny," I looked into her eyes, seeing beauty and passion. I said," Danny..that's a beautiful name," she blushed bright red, like a red rose. She was beautiful, and I really think I like her. I liked her, I don't know why but I did, not because she was beautiful, but because I felt like she...she..understood me. There was a silence between us, then out of no were it happened again -my head- it was hurting, I looked down holding my head, I could hear Danny saying," I'll get a nurse." I looked up and saw a man, staring at me and observing my pain. I looked at him and as I looked at him my vision became blurry as he came closer...and closer, he said," this is fun..." I then passed out.

I soon awoke with Danny on my side and a nurse on the other side. They both looked at me, Danny had fear in her eyes, probably thinking I was dead. The nurse then left the room telling Danny she can stay here for the night, if she wanted, she nodded and sat down. I looked at her then noticed somethings on her arm, I asked," can I see your arm?" She looked at me then down at the floor, she soon got up and rolled up her sleeves, revealing fear and pain. I asked," why," she then replied," don't worry about it," I looked at her, seeing her...her pasts in those scars.
I asked again no hesitation," why did you do it,"
"why do you wanna know so badly,"
"because you're worrying me,"
"well maybe you shouldn't,"
"maybe I should,"
"..."
a silence between us, she looked at me, with those eyes....oh, her eyes..was I falling in love? Was I falling in love with a girl I just met?

She looked down on the floor, then back at me. She took a breath in and said," I cut myself because I feel pessimistic..and worthless." I got up and walk towards her. She stood up in a flash and said,"you should stay in bed,you might pa-," she was interrupted, by me...I gave her..a...a..hug, she was..warm. After a few seconds I let go, and she was blushing, and I mean blushing, her whole face red. I felt happy to know that she cared about me, and she liked the hug.
