"You all really think you can beat Britain's top executioner? I don't care how many of you there is." Tobias' arm tightened around my throat.
I coughed, catching Ross' attention. To my luck, he understood what I mouthed to him, confirming with a small nod.
"Well, if you move so much of an inch, we'll all shoot you, and I think the best executioner in the room will be me." Ross said.
"I'm the best!" He shouted awfully close to my ear.
"You need to chill." I hissed.
"And you need to die."
I watched Ellington pick up the stalling and pass on the message to the others. They were out of my sight, but I could hear them breathing.
"Now!"
Tobias' arm went limp for a second; long enough for me to be able to squat down from his grip and kick his knee which caused it to pop back and him to fall.
By the time he fell, I had already grabbed his gun.
"You basically didn't need us." Riker approached us with a smile, his gun pointed to Tobias who looked at us in panic.
I held my gun up at an angle. "Don't you freaking try me."
I looked go Matt, trying to run. He took another step, and I shot his foot. He still managed to get away, but I will get him soon.
"It's too late! It's too late!" Tobias was absolutely insane, his phone in his hand. "The moment I press this button, all information on your spies will go public."
"Do it and I'll kill you." Ross appeared from the balcony with Ellington.
"Watch-"
There was a gunshot, but it was too late, the phone resting on its limp hand. "Oh god no. No, no, no!"
"It's fixable, right?" Casey asked.
"By the time it's all recovered, people will have enough information to kill all of the spies." I rubbed my temples.
There was a hand on my shoulder. "Are you okay?"
"I will be." I sighed. "Let's get out of here, please."

A lot of paperwork was involved with my return and it caused me to have many panic attacks and just lock myself in my room until dinner time.
The drug that made me appear 'dead' when I faked my passing looks very tempting right now.
However, there was a mass assembly with all the spies in Sector H, which stood for Hall. I noticed Ross by the door as I walked in.
"We need to talk."
"I don't think right now will be the best of times, we have an assembly." I said in a hushed voice.
"After that?" He pressed on.
I nodded. "Okay, let's go now."
We piled into the sides as the seats ran out and had to stand, or optionally sit on the ground. I chose to stand, and Ross sat by my feet. He was about to say something when the chatter came to an abrupt stop.
Dad walked to the microphone. "Thank you all for coming in so fast. It was a very short notice assembly but I'll try to make this as short as I possibly can. As you all know, we've been working hard to recover the privacy towards our spies but it's now come to us that our information is still private."
I took a sigh of relief.
"However, they are in the hands of many different organisations in Europe, in the form of USB sticks. There are 7 to collect and destroy. For this honourable task, I and the governors chose our best spy from the two genders; the results were not only decided by their efficiency, but also by their relationship to one another and their skill."
I held my breath, expecting the worst.
"Our choices were Ross Lynch, and my daughter Athena Carmichael."
All eyes collectively turned to us. I want to leave. "You were chosen, you don't have to go, but we feel like we would have the best results with the two of you leading the way forward.""I'm in." Ross announced, then all eyes flicked up to me.
"Sure, whatever, I don't really have a choice, do I."
"You don't hav-"
"I don't really have a choice, do I?" I emphasised.
"Lead them out." Adam and Priscilla appeared, taking Ross and I in different directions.
"Where are you taking me?!" I pulled my arm from her hands.
"Before you can leave, we have to make some adjustments." She said. "Come along now."
sorry if it's a shitty chapter, i don't usually work at my top performance when I'm irritated

FanficI did what I had to do. And sure, it hurt me beyond words but, I prefer it hurting me rather than hurting the others around me. I think of them daily, how they are, if they have moved on from me. But, I need to forget them, because I have a new life...
