»Rebel«

  "Death, why are you here?" I asked.

  "Oh, just thought I would say hi. I am staying at a nearby village. I will see you later." He said. He turned and sprinted to the forest.

  "Well, that was quite odd." I mumbled.

  "Hmph. A nasty mouth, too." Sesshomaru growled. He turned and walked towards Jaken and Rin. Rin was fast asleep. I settled down next to Rin. I didn't realize how tired I was. I fell asleep seconds later, only to be accompanied by a nightmare.

  My head snapped to the sound of a scream. I jumped down and ran to where Rin and Rebel were resting. Rebel was cringing and clutching the grass. Another scream pierces the night. I kneel next to Rebel. I gently shake her shoulders. She bolts upright. She is trembling all over. Her eyes widened in surprise, shock, and terror.

  "Rebel, are you alright?" I asked gently. She looked at me like a frightened puppy, like she was going to run any second. I move slowly towards her.

  "Calm down, Rebel. There is nothing to be afraid of." I said gently.

  She whimpered and slowly backed up. This confused me. Didn't she recognize me?

  "Rebel, it's me. Sesshomaru." I whispered.

  "S-Sesshomaru?" She said uncertainly. I nodded. She trembled and ran to me. She wrapped her arms tightly around my waist. This surprised me.

Console her, idiot.

Shut up. I said to my beast.

Hell no. She is scared and confused.
I know what you're doing. There's no way this Sesshomaru fell for a female.

  My beast went quiet. Tch. What a nuisance. She whimpered again. I grabbed her chin gently. I pulled her to look at me. I was surprised to see tears running down her face. I took my thumb and wiped the tears off, gently.

  "Demons, such as yourself never should show this kind of weakness." I said. I held her chin as my thumb traced her bottom lip. She looked at me surprised. Our gazes locked, and suddenly everything began to unfold. I slowly moved my hand to hold the back of her neck. Our lips centimeters apart. My eyes were half lidded. Our lips crashed.

  I wrapped an arm around her waist as I pulled her closer. Her arms came up and wrapped around my neck. Our lips moving in sync. Nothing else mattered. Just her. I had never felt something so intense before. She pulled back and rested her head on my chest. I sighed and tightened my embrace. Her breathing grew steady. I slowly layed her back down.
