»Rebel«

Lord Sesshomaru stepped out. He paused and looked over at my hiding spot. Crap.

"Hasn't anyone taught you it is rude to eavesdrop, Rebel?" He asked sternly.

"Sorry, My Lord." I dropped my head in shame. "I was looking for Biako so he could read this note yo me." I held out the paper for Sesshomaru. He took it and read it. He looked at me in confusion.

"You can't read this note?" He asked. I shook my head. "Rebel... I wrote this note." He said quietly. He stared at me a few seconds.

"Come with me." He said. I was confused, but followed after him. We entered a large room. There was a desk in the middle. Papers and books everywhere. He told me to sit down at the desk. He handed me a piece of paper and a quill.

  "Write your name." He commanded.

"I can't." I whispered.  He leaned on the desk and pulled my face to look at him in the eyes. Our faces centimeters apart.

  "And why not?" He pestered.

"I don't know how to read or write." I said, ashamed. He got up and moved to the window, his back to me. I heard a exasperated sigh.

"You may leave." He said. I bowed and exited.

»Sesshomaru«

I pinched the bridge of my nose and closed my eye. She can't read or write. What am I going to do?

I noticed she is not very mannered either. I sighed. This is going to be a pain.

  "Jaken." I said.

"Yes, my lord?" His high voiced asked.

  "Go get Rebel."

  " Yes, my lord."

Let's see how much she really can do.

»Rebel«

"Oi." A high pitched voice called. I ducked just as a staff missed my head. Jaken pouted. "Lord Sesshomaru wants you in his study." He said. I sighed and turned around.

"Well, tell Lord Sesshomaru I said sorry. I'm going back. Thank him for his hospitality." I bowed and walked outside. I smelled the air. I was going to miss Rin. She was a sweet girl. I ran and leapt over the wall. As I hit the ground I took off, the wind rushing through my hair felt so good.

"Rebel!" I heard a familiar voice call. I turned and saw three people running towards me. I stopped and smiled. The first one to reach me was a boy. He tackled me and we wrestled with each other.

"Ok, children, break it up." A female said. I looked a the wolf demon and laughed.

"Aww, Devil, you always ruin the fun." The boy whined. "Besides, aren't you and Koga lovebirds?" He smirked.

"Demon, you are so dead!" Devil yelled as she leapt at him. He giggled and ran away. "Koga! Help me catch the brat." Devil said. I looked a the third person. The male wolf chuckled.
"They act so childish." He said.

"Koga you traitor." Devil whined. Koga just smiled and I chuckled. I haven't seen my friends for sometime.

"Alright guys, break it up." I said. Demon rushed over to me and hid behind my leg.

"Little brat." Devil mumbled under her breath and picked a twig out of her coal black hair. Demon stuck out his tongue and Koga chuckled. I rolled my eyes. They are so childish.

"Demon, you naughty dragon, what on earth have you been up to, torturing Devil, shame on you." I teasingly scold the child. He looked up at me. I smiled and messed up his hair.

"Hey." He whined. I chuckled and looked at Koga and Devil.

"So how are my favorite lovebirds?" I smirked.

"Don't you start that too, Rebel." Devil growled at me.

"Start what? I don't know what you're talking about, Devil." I said, looking at her innocently. She growled as Koga laughed. She shoved him.

"Hey. Don't be such a hard head." He said. She growled.

"Traitor." She whispered. I felt a tug at my kimono. I looked down to see oceanic blue eyes looking at me.

"I missed you, sis." I smiled down at the dragon child. I bent down to pick him up. He wrapped his hands around my neck and hugged me.

"I missed you too, Demon." I said gently as I hugged him back. We walked together towards my old home. Demon holding my hand.
