Although Ariana is a big fan of crop tops and mini skirts - or anything pink and girly -, nothing beats your boyfriend's hoodie. It's so big - Michael's like two size bigger than her - and warm and smells amazing like him.

She slept over at Michael's on Sunday due to a thunderstorm forcing her to stay inside and had to wear the boy's clothing for school the following day. Not that it was a problem. They walked to school together on Monday and even held hands on the way. Michael's slowly getting out of his shell!

They were standing by the red haired boy's locker, chatting before class when Ashton showed up. Ariana waved at him with a kind smile before excusing herself.

''I have to hand a paper to my English teacher before the bell, I'll see you later, babe.'' She stood on her tiptoe and kissed Michael's cheek quickly before skipping off to her English class.

''Did I miss something?'' the swimmer asked, raising an eyebrow at his best friend. From what he knows, Michael and Ariana are platonic but, it didn't seems like it this morning. They were a little too touchy and couple-y.

Michael blushed and turned his head so Ashton wouldn't see his pink cheeks. ''No, not really,'' he lied.

Snickering, Ashton elbowed him. ''Yeah, sure. Friends call each other 'baby'. Remind me of the last time I called you that...right, it never happened.''

He was caught.

''Ugh, alright, we're dating.''

''Oh,'' Ashton cooed. ''Mikey got himself a girl.''

''Fuck off,'' Michael said with a glare. ''I didn't tease you when you started dating your girlfriend.''

''Ex-girlfriend. We broke up last week.''

Hearing about this almost made Michael choke on saliva. ''W-what? When was that and why did you not tell me? I thought we were best friends!''

Ashton rolled his eyes. ''I'm telling you now, what difference does it make? Like I said, it happened last week, it's not that long ago...''

''Well, I would've liked to know about it.''

''It was my relationship; if I don't want to talk about it, I can.''

Michael nodded, sensing the breakup was a sensitive subject. Things must have not gone the way Ashton wanted them to...

And it wasn't Michael's business. They might be best friends but that doesn't mean they have to share everything. It's not a part of the deal. They're allowed to keep things to themselves.

''How did it happen?'' Michael couldn't help but ask.

The curly haired boy was hesitant. Should he tell him or not? He knew Michael would ask about it but, does he really need to know about Cecily finding out he cheated and all that drama? Not really. It doesn't matter anymore, he's with Luke now. Cecily and the breakup are behind.
