It was the year 2021, at about September, and the Winter was about to start. Anne Hacquebord was a 14-year-old boy, just about 1m 70cm tall, and he was hungry. By hungry I mean more hungry than he usually is. At Moscow you are always hungry. When you find food, you give thanks, and pray to your God, eat the food, and then just keep seeking for more food.
But do not think that this only happened in this country. People at Moscow didn't know, but, at the United States of America, people were inside their homes, waiting for the world to end, and praying that food arrives that day from the South Americas.
The South Americas was where 80% of the population's food comes from, since it is the only part of the world that had not suffered a Nuclear Winter yet. The N.S.U. (Neo Soviet Union) had a programme by its communist government to feed the whole of its 8 billion people only by its own resources, but since the Winter kills every year all of the plants and wheat, the Government has been forced to import from the South Americas.
Now, we go back to Anne. Anne had been born in the middle of the Great Revolution, before the Winters came over, so he knew what was to swim at a swimming pool on a sunny Saturday. But then, because of the Nuclear-Bomb-issue, cold and snow came over, and 10 years had gone by, and the cold didn't go, and the Winters became more strong every year.
He had been trained at the Military Neo-Soviet School, since the new government had reintroduced conscription. He was able to kill animals two or three times bigger than him, and he could make a campfire using sticks, be could make a wooden sword only using his pocket knife, he could climb every mountain, and he could play the piano. Anne was a very skilled kid from a very rich family, which was now running out of money and resources.
But Anne didn't fear poverty, or death. He feared the cold. He was afraid of the Winter.
By that time, Anne's closest relatives, that were still alive, were his mother, Mrs. Anci Hacquebord, and his brother, Andrew Hacquebord. His father died at the Berlin incident. Then, Anne had lots of friends, which he considered his family as well, and these were: Julio, James, Dr. Exodus (he wasn't even a doctor anyways), Dry, Enrich, and Raphael. Their families were also rich, since they first met at an early age in a rich kindergarten, and the reason why Anne's friends came to Moscow when Europe got destroyed.
So, it was the 21st of September, year 2021, at 5:00am, but Anne had already waken up. He had to start working. Anne worked at a factory. A weapon factory. Working at his age was normal, and though his family was rich, they needed money, since war was draining all of his family's money.
So he worked. He worked like the day before, and he thought that that was how he would work the next day. But I am not mentioning this day to describe Anne's rutine, but because this 21st day of September changed his life, just when he was working.
But this, I'll tell you about the next chapter.
