PE Class Heroes

Anne spent that 16th of December at the Hospital, recovering from the fight. And once he was fine to leave, that was around the 18th of December, he discovered that in the sections, everything had changed.

Johannes was put into the Imprisonment Sector- that's 103- and so this could make possible a relationship between Ruth and Anne. 

The Nuclear Winter, which took place from December to August, had begun. So the fights for the fall of the regime would start with the Winter. 

The 25th of December, they would choose the people that are fit enough to work in the War.

It was 1:00am, when the staff from the Western Headquarters came to their bedrooms. They took everyone from the 10th Section, and carried them to the Gym. 

They dropped them, so they woke up by themselves. The PE teacher shouted:

-WAKE UP YOU LAZY SAUSAGES! WE GOT THE ELECTIONS TODAY! C'MON!

Then, the elections started.

And these elections, were actually sword-fights, and it was a classification. It wasn't a battle to death, but the swrod were sharp anyways.

The objective is to get your opponent down on the floor, and if you deffeat 2 people, then you classification, and you don't fight anymore. If you get defeated 2 times, you loose, you get eliminated, and you go away.

These were the first duels:

The thing started well. Anne knew a lot about sword, and nobody could deny that, but Julio had had lots of practice too, which led to a very tight fight.

Julio first started attacking from up, in which Anne reacted quick, moving to his right, and letting Julio fall. He kicked Julio in the back his the non-sharp side of the sword, and Julio screamed.

-I gotcha, Julio!

-That was just the beginner's luck...

Anne was happy, not because of defeating Julio, but because FireStone had defeated and injured Johannes, who was bleeding.

In the first round, the people that lost were the next: RedBlueStone, Johannes, Julio, James, Maribla, Charls, and plumb.

There is no need of describing more about the tournament, because Anne passed, winning the first round, losing the second round, but winning the third one. In fact, all did pass, except the next:

Charls, Danny Vazquez and Plumb.

These three were carried into a room, and they were injected a liquid, to forget everything they had done in the last 4 months. Then, they were carried back to Moscow, to start a new life.

The winners, everyone else, they had a big party at the cantine, and they ate whatever they wanted, until the whole of the day, while shouting out loud:

-WE ARE THE PE CLASS HEROES!

At about 6:00pm, thr party was dead.

Everyone was drunk, or sleeping, or vomiting, or doing those three things at the same time.

And of course, there was an exception, Ruth Duncan. 

She had drunk more than anyone else, she had eaten more than anyone else, but she wasn't tired. She was awake, standing up, looking around, and watching.

Anne, was half-awaken. And drunk. So we was shameless.

He went next to Ruth, dancing around, and said:

-Hello, babe, how ar- *hip!* -e you?

-Well, I'm fine boy, but it looks like everyone else here is drunk, and s-so you are.

-Well, I *hip!* I wa-wanted to tell you something -now Anne looked serious, and so did Ruth.

-Y-yes?... -Ruth said slowly

-That I, I lo-lov-ve y-yo- And Anne finally went to sleep, without finishing the sentence.

-W-whah-!- Ruth closed her eyes, and laid sideways on the table, while her black coat hugged her, keeping her body warm all night long.

There was an empty silence until next morning.
