Her Pain

Felix's POV

"It all started when she was 6" sein started. "When she and our mother went out to the store to get grocery's they were held at gunpoint by a gang" sein says. Our eyes widen. "Tamara had no idea that she was a demon and our mother didn't know that her family was demon either" sein started.

Flashback

"Don't move" a deep voice growls. The mother grabs hold of Tamara's shaking hand. "Please leave us alone" the mother begged. "That is a cute kid" another voice chuckles. The mother holds Tamara even tighter. "Please just let us go" the mother begs. By now Tamara is silently crying in her mother's arms. "No, we think we will make you two our next victims" the voice chuckles. He steps closer and the mother and child try to run. The man grabs the mother by the hair and yanks her to the ground. The child falls forward. "You bitch" the man growls. The mother is crying, begging for her child to be left alone. A man steps in front of the child. "Hey there cutie" he smirks. Tamara is shaking with fear and her heart is pounding. The man starts to reach for her and everything goes quiet. In a flash the man's throat is slashed open by sharp claws. The mother looks at her daughter and gasped. "What the" she starts but can't finish. Witnessing herself is her child changing into a demon. Tails spurt out and ears break through her hair. Her teeth sharpen and her nails start growing to a point. A dark aura is forming around her like steam coming out of the ground. Tamara looks towards the other assailant and a terrifying growl is heard. She steps towards them and lunges at the man, ripping his arm off. "AHH" he screams in agony. But she doesn't stop. She raises her fist and smashes his head in. killing him instantly. She pants hard and the mother is frozen in place. Tamara is covered in blood. The aura around her starts to disappear and soon Tamara just stands there. She looks around and sees her mother. "Mama" she softly speaks. She has no recollection of what she did. She steps forward but her mother quickly gets up and backs away. The girl cocks her head in confusion. "Mama" she says again and reaches out to grab her mother. The mother out of fear swats her hand away and causes the girl to fall down. "Stay..."the mother starts. "STAY AWAY FROM ME YOU FREAK" she screeches.

The girl is stunned. The mother backs away and then starts running away from her child and the corpses that lay around her.

Flashback over

I am stunned. I can't say anything. "Wait so she just left you two" piggeh asked out in anger. "It would have been better that way" sein sighs. "When she got home she said that Tamara had run off when she had the chance and she couldn't find her. Our father found her 2 hours later in an abandoned construction sight crying, covered in blood" sein says. "That's horrible" I say. "We didn't know what really happened. So we just said we were happy they were both ok and moved on...but everything changed" sein mumbled. "Tamara started getting bullied by the kids because she was a demon" sein says. "But I never got it. Everyone figured out if she was a demon I was too but they all just singled her out like she was the plaque or something. She lost all her friends, she was always alone" sein said. "I could even see that our mother was distancing herself from Tamara as well. I just figured that she was trying to figure out how to adjust finding out her family was demons" sein says. "Then more incidents started to happen" sein states. "Like what" I asked. "Tamara would lock herself in her room, sometime even missing dinner. She didn't like going outside anymore. I never heard her even say the words mother or father either. She wouldn't even call me Onee-Chan anymore. Just sein. Then..."sein stops. "What happened" ken asked worried. "We got a call that Tamara was pushed down a flight of stairs" sein finishes. We gasp in horror. "Was she okay" minx asked. "She broke her arm and a few ribs but she was fine...in a way" sein says. "Our mother though...I swear when I told her...I saw her smile" sein growls. My heart hurt for Tamara but I also felt pure hate for her mother. "It was like that until she was in high school, about her freshman year. Tamara would have nightmares that would send her into a panic. then one night I guess she couldn't take it anymore and went on a rampage in the house. When we were finally able to get her to stop fighting she broke down and told us about how our mother was beating her when everyone wasn't here. How she told Tamara to never say this was her family because she had already put enough shame to us. How she told her that she deserved all the pain she was getting because she didn't deserve to live" sein growled.

I swallowed hard. I wouldn't be able to handle that. I went through pain and it hurt but this is too much. All that pain and being alone would hurt too much. I might have killed myself if I was her much to my displeasure saying it but it is what I feel. "We confronted her and when she admitted it, she left that night. They got a divorce and we moved to the demon world because we felt it might be safer for Tamara...but we were wrong" sein growls. "There's more" minx gasped with tears already down her face. "One day when Tamara went to school for her last day as a freshman, she vanished" sein says. "No way" I gasped. "No matter what we did we couldn't find even a trace of her for an entire year" sein whimpered. "When we did, we found out that our uncle, naraku, had kidnapped her as...a...sex slave" sein stutters out. The room went cold. Her own uncle. Her own flesh and blood did that? "Tamara refuses to say what happened but the bruises and her personality told us everything. She spent the rest of her time homeschooled. This all happened only a year ago. Tamara's personality changed then. She completely hates humans. I hardly see her smile, she doesn't leave her room a lot, and she refuses to talk about what happened. She even has nightmares every single night" sein finishes. "Then why would you send her to a human school" I asked angrily. "It was my father's call. He knows that her being homeschooled for the rest of her life isn't something she would have wanted if all those things hadn't happened. That's why she is on a trial" sein says. "A trial" I ask. "He is giving her 1 month in the school. If she doesn't want to stay, then she will be moved back to the demon world" sein says. Only a month. Just a month to forgive humans for abandoning her and treating her as an outsider, and completely shattering her spirit since she turned.
