I went home After that, the whole situation not affecting me the way it should be. I grabbed two suit cases and set them on my bed. I went to my closet and started packing for this road trip.

According to Edward when I learned the truth, everyone felt a powerful force coming. Most likely the packs, clans, covens,schools, empires, kingdoms, and whatever else they had out there. I picked the emerald necklace from my chest and held it in my hands. I haven't taken this off since birth. My mother gave it to me.

I then went into the bathroom and packed all of that good stuff. I grabbed the luggage and took it outside. I loaded my motorcycle on my pick-up truck then my luggage. I went back inside and grabbed a blanket and my purse. I wrote a note to Megan.

I'm sorry but I have left I will be back soon but don't worry I am fine. Take care of the house for me and I will be back soon. I just needed a fresh start something new. I needed some time away to discover myself. You will always be my best friend and I will miss you deeply because it's always good to have a friend.

I left it on the kitchen counter top and looked at the list Edward gave me.

I guess I'm going to see werewolves, I get in my truck and i'm off.

===========Driving===========

I get hungry from all the road time and stop at a diner. It's dark outside already, and I can see the stars they are so beautiful. I walked into the small diner.I sat at the red leather booth, That was identical to every other booth. I pulled the paper Edward gave me, out of my pocket. I flipped it around something I had failed to do yesterday. The back had words on it as well.

Since you know the truth know your powers should be coming, The first is identification. This power just lets you be able to identify if you are around a supernatural and what kind it is. You will just know, and the rest of your powers will come in different order. when you get to the werewolves they have a seeker there ask her any more questions that you have.

Well I guess that power is useful. I wonder what powers I will get. Edward said that a keepers powers are limitless and that I was a stronger keeper. The thing I can't believe is that I am the last of my kind.

If we were so powerful how did all of them die. I will have to ask the other seeker that when I get there. well were is exactly there. I pull out my phone to see I am already in Texas I just need to drive 5 miles in and I will be there.

A waiter comes up to my table and says

" How are you doing on this fine night, My name is Cari and I will be your waiter. Do you know what you are ordering yet or can I start you off if a drink tonight."

"Yes, do you have alcohol, trust me, I need it." I say as I lean my head on my hands.

" Well we aren't supposed to do this but, by the look of you. You need it, stressful day." Cari said adding a sad smile at the end.

" More like stressful week, and thank you." I said

" I can relate ,now what would you like to eat." She said

" A burger and onion rings pickle, lettuce, tomato, and mayo on the burger. Also a beer,please." I say in a tiring voice

Cari jots down my order and goes to the kitchen. I know I must be close to my destination, because a little voice inside my head is telling my that Cari is a Werewolf.

Cari comes back with my food and says.

" You look like you need some company and I need someone to talk to."

" Well by all means" I say as I jester to the booth opposite from me.

I dig in my food while I listen to Cari.

" I have this problem and I don't know how to fix it, well I have this boyfriend and we both knew what we were getting into. In my culture we have Mates. It's like a sole mate. Well I found my mate and I love him I really do. but my boyfriend told me he loved me the other night before I could break up with him. I don't love him back, I want my mate. I just don't want to hurt him, you see."

"Well it looks like your mate is ease dropping and is that your boyfriend over there. I say pointing to two different guys.

She looks behind her and gasp.

"Yes, it is" she says

" Well is your bf form a different state or country, like after you break up with him, will you have to see him again." I question

"Yes, oh my he is from a different state"

"Well leave this all to me" I say as I get up.

I put my hand out for her to take. After she takes it I lead her over to her mate.

" What is your name and you know it is not nice to ease drop"

" Max and nobody said I was nice"

" I like you well just get ready to run and i'm Katherine by the way but call me Kat. What is your ex-boyfriends name."

" His name is, Guy"

" okay be back and be ready to run do you guys have a car."

"no ,I walked here." they say at he same time.

" well go outside and wait for me in that purple truck okay" I say as I hand them the keys to me truck.

I walk over to Guy and say

" Hey Guy , Cari found her mate and she doesn't love you and never did. Both of you knew what you were getting into. So you are now her Ex. bye bye."

He looks confused then looks at Cari and Max walking to my truck and hatred spreads on his now red face.

" RUN" I scream and do as I'm told.

I jump in the back compartment of my truck and Max starts the truck. Guy, stops chasing me after the truck started driving. I open the window between the back truck and the seat part, where Max and Cari are. I climb through it and look at both of them and we all start laughing.

" Where are we going" I ask Max

"To my Pack er I mean home."

Looks like I'm going to Moonstone pack After all.

"Hey, are you guys talking about the Moonstone pack."

Max slams the breaks down and looks at me confusion clear on his face.

" What, how do you know" Max and Cari say at the same time.

" I'm going there and to many other groups like covens and clans and stuff like that to make peace as the last one of my kind. Who is the Alpha."

" Well I'm the Beta, the Alpha won't be back till a while,what species are you."

" Well I'm the last Keeper" I say with a smile.
