"Hope, i know you're strong. You need to fight the pill." I beg, pinning my 6yr old daughter to the floor.

"Hope is gone." She whispers.

"Did you start this fire?" I ask as the heat crawls up to me.

"Yes."

"Hope, your dad is getting help for his anger. He goes to see a specialist because he loves you and he doesn't want you to be scared of him." I whisper. She stops struggling under my strength and the black of her eyes fades, gradually they go back to blue.

"Hope? Hope!" I shout, stroking her hair.

Hope's eyes turn back to pure blue and they flicker, until they close tightly.

"Sweetie, please wake up." I beg, tears streaming down my face.

"Skye! Skye can you hear me?" I hear from my computer.

"Yes! Where's the fire?" I shout.

"On your floor. You have to get out now." Dad warns.

"I can't. There's no way to get out." I gasp, the gas filling my throat.

"You have to get out now." He repeats.

"What exits are there?" I ask.

"The roof."

"Just the roof? Jarvis, where's my suit?" I shout, standing.

"The suit is caught in the fi-fi-fi." Jarvis stutters.

"Damn it Jarvis! I need you!" I curse.

"Skye, you need to go to the roof."

I pick Hope up, cradling her unconscious body in my arms and walk up the fire escape stairs.

"Skye, are you going to the roof?" My dad asks through my phone.

"Yep, Hope's heavy."

"Is she okay?" He asks. I place my fingers on her neck and feel her heart beat.

"Unconscious but her heart beat is weak. Does the pill have any long term effects?" I ask and my dad goes quiet.

"Dad? Tell me."

"I don't know. I didn't use it."

"Don't lie to me! Are there any long term effects?" I shout as i reach the roof, the same roof the woman jumped off.

"Possible brain damage and paralysis." He quickly replies.

My heart races and the fire creeps up behind me as i walk to the edge of the roofs building. I lean over and see everyone gathered in the car park.

"Skye!" Zeke shouts, i see him staring up at me, holding Lucas over his shoulder. I scan the crowd for my dad but i don't see him.

"How do i get down now?" I ask, holding Hope closer to me.

The gas fills my lungs, burning me and i collapse to the ground.

The last thing i see is the fire travelling towards me and Hope.
