The first few chapters wont be long, a little slow, but then it will get better as the plot builds.

He woke up to the same noise everyday. The loud (annoying) sound of his alarm was currently blasting through the room of his small apartment. The sound wouldn't have been so bad if every sound he heard was amplified. Truthfully he had gotten used to the loud sounds around the age of 10 or 11, Luke never really being bothered by it...

Unless it meant he had to get up out of his warm bed.

Luckly though going to his classes didn't seem like the absolute worst thing that could happen to the history of man today. It made it slightly easier to get out of bed.

Glancing at the clock, Luke realized that he had a half an hour to get ready and get coffee for both him and Calum like he had promised the day before. Sometimes Luke hated how easily he gave into Calums stupidly cute puppy eyes.

His shower was quick, resulting in him spending five minutes scrubbing at his skin and hair before shutting off the water and wrapping the white fluffy towel around his waist that he got at the store a few days ago. It was a slightly expensive towel but it was worth it.

He spent another five minutes getting ready, choosing black skinny jeans and a old Greenday shirt he had gotten years back after seeing the band in concert with Calum, it was a little ripped up, but it was still wearable.

Now look, Luke knew that he didn't have the body that was expected from at his age. He was indeed a beta but he still had baby fat and particularly strong thighs as his mother would say. Of course he believed her, her being an alpha and all. He was pretty confident in himself, not much but he knew he had a nice ass and that was enough for him.

Walking to the local cafe was never fun, it was always cold and windy in the little town he lived in, he was lucky though because he had werewolf heat and that was definitely a plus during the winter. The summer wasn't the best if he was honest though.

Checking the time again, he was happy to find that he still had around fifteen minutes until campus doors closed and he was screwed because once the doors closed you couldn't leave unless your classes were done and you couldn't come in, which meant you would have a bad attendance.

Luke sort of hated to admit it but he had a practically perfect record and he wanted to keep it that way. College wasn't easy but it made his mum proud, that was just about all he needed in life now anyway.

He got the two coffees in less than five minutes, the old precious lady being fond of him and also knowing his order by heart at this point practically had them ready once he walked into the little shop.

Taking a small sip he realized that he really loved that old lady because she made the best coffee if you asked him.

Calum met him outside the doors, smiling brightly as his coffee was handed to him, mumbling a thank you Lukey, I love you. Thus making Luke rule his eyes, Calum only said this when he brought him food. They walked into the building together, getting friends as they walked by.

He and Calum had known each other since they were practically in diapers, their packs were very close. Their mothers had one of the most epic friendship bonds known and had happily passed it down to them. Calum and him had been through practically everything together, from the loss of his father and the day Calum punched a vampire, vampire of all creatures, in the face because they had been making fun of Luke.

He returned the favor a few years back when an alpha cheated on Calum, making sure to add a kick to the balls before dragging his best friend away from the scene that he would forever thank him for. No matter how many times Luke tried to convince him that it was all good and the asshole deserved it.

"So I've heard that there's a new pack entering soon," Calum was the one to always initiate conversations in the morning, knowing that Luke was usually against talking if he didn't absolutely have to.

Another great reason to be friends with the older one.

Luke shrugged one shoulder, taking another small sip of his coffee. Class didn't start for another ten minutes.

"I don't know," he responded quietly "Mum hasn't said much about it so either they are passing through or simply looking for a new home."

They talked about the possiblities of this new pack before they went their separate ways for their first lectures of the day. Luckly Luke was majoring in art which meant that he only had three classes.

Art was one of his father's favorite things and he had always felt the urge to do it more often. Sometimes he asked himself but was because of his dad or because he really wanted to do this. He'd say it was a little bit of both to be truthful.

Halfway through his first lesson, slowly writing down his notes, in what Calum liked to call his princess handwriting, a small sticky note landed on his desk, right next to his hand, folded into a little paper airplane.

He lifted his head, looking around the him to see if he could spot where the small airplane had come from, only to find everyone looking at the professor. He sighed softly, hoping the person would hear it before turning and quietly opening the note. The hand writing was slightly messy, a mess between curse and regular handwriting that gave him a cute little hint of who this person may have been.

He didn't expect the jumble or letters called words to make his cheeks and the tips of his ears burn as they turned pink, his eyes continuously scanning them for any scent of a lie. He found nothing.

You, Luke Hemmings, are a breathtakingly beautiful person.

He totally didn't squeal to Calum that he had a secret admirer. He would never that.

Next update should be around the 20th, see you then!
