Christmas at the Potter's

James's pov

The weeks went by fast and it was almost time for Christmas break. I sent my parents an owl asking if my friends could stay with them and I would be inviting my new friends too. She said yes, So now, to ask them. Everyone was already at the table so I sat next to Hermione. She's a nice girl and now my best friend. I think her and Sirius would make a cute couple. The other day he told me his plan to ask her out on the break. I hope she says yes, but seeing how she is with him, I'm pretty sure she likes him too. I'm also hoping to win over my Lily flower. "Hey guys, do you all want to spend Christmas at my mansion? We have plenty of rooms for everyone to have their own room." I asked hopefully. They all agreed, even Lily flower. Yay I'm going to spend Christmas with all of my best friends. I turn to talk to Mione. "Are you excited for Christmas Mione?" I ask her. "Yes I love Christmas. Especially the snow. Does it snow where you live?" Mione asked. "Yes. It's beautiful at Christmas time. There is a lot of snow and the lake freezes so me and Sirius go ice skating and then we have epic snowball fights. But whenever Remus comes he only keeps score. Now with all of us it could be 3 on 3 and Remus keep score like he always do. It's more fun, but only if everyone is open to it." I explain. "Me, Ron and Harry like skating and snowball fights too." She answered. "I have a feeling this is going to be a great Christmas." I answer and she giggles. We start packing and head to the station. Once we get there we were welcomed by My parents. She was surprised at the large group I had. She was glad to have the company anyways. So we all apparated. Me, Lily and Harry, & Sirius,Ron,and Hermione & Remus with my parents. Once we got there Lily, Hermione Ron and Harry gasped at the size. It was a fairly big mansion with 4floors and many rooms. And two free and paid house elves. We walk inside and they were amazed. There was a crystal chandelier with a spiral staircase leading to the east wing and west wing. On the left was a huge ballroom for the annual Potter Christmas ball. To the right was the sitting area or as muggles call it a living room. " ok follow me to the third floor. Our rooms. There is 8 rooms and 4 bathrooms. Me and Sirius on top floor and my parents on second floor. Your rooms are on third floor as well. They all walked up the steps and made it to the third floor. It was one big hallway. Ok. On the left. My room it first, next is Sirius and then Remus, and then Lily. And two bathrooms. On the right is for Harry, then Hermione, then Ron, and a spare room and two bathrooms. Dinner is on the the first floor. Just go into the sitting room and take a right and there is the dining room. It's a huge table, so no need to worry, dinner is at 7, and oh please dress up nice, it's what we do here. We dress up for dinner. So I'll let you get settled in and meet me in the study when we finish. It's second floor. East wing or right wing. Second door on the right." I explain, hoping I didn't loose anyone. They nod and head into their rooms and I do the same.

Harry's pov
I'm so excited to spend Christmas with my parents, godfather and my best friends. My dad's house is so big! And my grandparents are so nice to let us stay. I head into my room and look around. It's beautiful. Griffindor colors. I place here if on the desk by the window and unpack my trunk. Once I'm done, I sit on the bed and sigh. I hear movement outside so I decide to go to the study. I'm at the place where he grew up! With him and mum! It's been great to get to know them better. They are such great people. And dad, Sirius and Remus are really funny. I walk out and bump into my mum. "Sorry" I said. "It's ok Harry, want to go to the study together? I was just headed there now" she asked. "Sure" I and see and walk down the hall and to the steps. We walk down and talk all the way there. I now know why they liked my mom. She's really nice and I'm glad I get to know her and dad. Even if it's them as kids.

Hermione's pov:
When I finish packing my things, I go into the hall and see Sirius leaving. "Hi can I walk with you?" I ask him, hoping to spend more time with my crush/best friend. "Sure 'Mione , I know my around here very well. I stay here every summer and Christmases too. It basically my home. Besides Hogwarts." Sirius said. I felt bad for him, but glad that James and his parents practically took him in. Just like Harry and Ron with the Weasleys. We walk and talk some more. Then we head into the study. Nobody is here so we take a seat on the couch, Sirius sitting close to me. He smiles at me. His smile is so cute. I look into his beautiful eyes and five seconds later I see James, Ron and Remus. They all sit. Two minutes after that Harry and Lily come in and join us. We all have a good time and talk until 6:30 then head upstairs to get ready for dinner. I put on a beautiful spaghetti strap Dress that goest to my knees. It's dark blue with glitter everywhere. I but on a beautiful blue flats to go with it. Next my hair. I put it in a fishtail braid, and but on light makeup. I check the clock on the nightstand near my bed and it says 6:50 so I decide to head downstairs. I walk out and see Lily so we head down together. She is wearing beautiful red silky, one strap dress that flows down to her feet and red heels. Her hair is tied in a high ponytail. She a beautiful young woman. "You look beautiful Lils" I say. "Thanks Mione, so do you." She answered. "Thanks" I said as we go downstairs to meet the boys. I go downstairs to see all the boys down there looking handsome in their suits.

Hermione's pov:
After dinner we decide to play games. Harry and Ron play wizards chess Lily and I play a muggle game called Scrabble we both enjoy. James and Sirius played exploding snaps while Remus just watched me and Lily. Going back and forth between watching us and the boys. After that we all head to bed. Tomorrow is a long day. They will be decorating! They part ways and hear to bed

Hermione woke up and went down stairs where she saw Mr. and Mrs. Potter eating breakfast. The turn and give her a warm smile. "Hermione dear, good morning. Sleep well?" Mrs Potter asked. "Yes Mrs Potter." Hermione answered. "To formal Call me Athena and him Jack, he said gesturing to her husband, who was reading the daily prophet while sipping on coffee. The gang ate and met in the entrance room where the tree would be they all started to decorate everywhere in the main area and the dining hall. They had a muggle radio plugged in. They all started singing:

LILY and HERMIONE:

Rockin' around the Christmas tree at the Christmas party hop, Mistletoe hung where you can see every couple tries to stop, Rockin' around the Christmas tree let the Christmas spirit ring, Later we'll have some pumpkin pie and we'll do some caroling

JAMES, SIRIUS and REMUS :

After the song everyone laughed and continued decorating. They had a great time. Then when the day was over they went up to bed and slept soundly. The week went fast and it was finally Christmas! Sirius went and woke everyone up and they went downstairs to open gifts. They exchanged gifts and Sirius has one more present and so did James.

Sirius' pov:
After we all exchange gifts I see James pull Lily aside so I do the same with Hermione. It was our plan to ask out our crush. I pull her in the empty ballroom and pull out my gift for her. I take her hand and kiss it. She blushed and I smiled. "Hermione Jean Granger, since I met you I have been in awe at your beauty. Once I got to know you, I fell for you even more. You are funny, sweet, studious and a hard worker, and you don't let anybody get you down. You are brave and beautiful. Will you be my girlfriend?" I ask nervously, handing her my gift.

Hermione's pov:
Sirius finally asked me out! "Yes!" I say as I hug him. We pull away and he has a huge smile and so do I. I hoped he would ask me out and now he has! I open his gift and see a beautiful bracelet. He puts it on and I smile. He leads in and gives me a kiss! It's so wonderful and soft and passionate. I feel like fireworks, when we kiss. We break away and giggle. He laced our fingers and we walk back to the group.

James' pov:
I pull Lily aside and hope she agrees to go out with me. I love this girl and I keep chasing her but she doesn't want to go out. I'm hoping this bracelet would help. I hope she says yes this time.

" Lily Evans, when I first met you, I fell for you. I thought you were so beautiful, as time went on I fell more and more in love with you. I love how you are studious, brave, bold, independent, and beautiful. I chased after you and didn't seem interested and that hurt. But since this year and we grown closer to our new friends we also grew closer. Hopefully this will change your mind?" I ask and show her the bracelet. She gasps. Lily, will you please do me the honor of being my girlfriend?" I ask nervously. "Yes! She said and hugged me. I leaned in and kissed her. It was wonderful. Just what I hoped it would be. Her soft lips tasted like strawberries. I felt fireworks as we kissed. It was wonderful, and passionate, and sweet. We break away. I lace my hand with hers and go back to the group. Later that day the gang and I skate and have a snowball fights. It was a fun day. After that we had the ball. The turnout was great. I danced with my Lily flower and Sirius danced with his 'Mione, who agreed to date him. Remus Harry and Ron danced with some random girls. After that went by fast it was already New Years. I kiss my girl and Sirius kissed his. Now we had to return to school. I have to say that this was my best Christmas yet and hope to have many more with all my best friends. We head to the station and say goodbye to my parents. We ride to Hogwarts happy, remembering the great trip.
