Becoming closer

Harry's pov
I can believe Sirius fell for Hermione. He's 18 years older than her! And he wants to date her! My godfather wants to date one of my best friends. I think they should just be friends. Maybe after seeing how they are with each other I may loosen up a bit. Only a bit. Only because here they are technically the same age. But he shouldn't rush things.

"I think you should stay friends for now, get to know her better and then make your decision." I said.

Sirius pov
"I think you should stay friends for now, get to know her better and then make your decision." Harry said. "Ok I will, thank you Harry" I replied.

I looked down at her sleeping. She looks so peaceful sleeping there. I gently stoke her hair, while smiling at her. She's so beautiful. I'm falling for her, that's for sure. I'm going to get to know her better, and when she becomes one of my best friends, then I will ask her out. Hopefully by Christmas.

She could stay with me, Remus, James and Lily at Potter Manor along with Harry and Ron. She started to shiver so I lay a blanket over the two of us. I yawn and close my eyes. Within minutes I'm asleep.

Hermione's pov
I woke up and I felt a warm figure. I look over and see Sirius asleep with his arm around me and my head on his shoulder. I slowly lift my head and look at him. He's adorable when he sleeps. His hair is slightly over his eyes and he's smiling in his sleep. I wonder what he's dreaming of. I look down and see a blanket over us and the common room empty. They must have gone to bed.

I see that it's only 3:45 am so I lay my head down so I can snuggle with Sirius. I put my head back were it was and fall asleep in his warm, arms, feeling safe. A feeling I haven't felt in a while. About 6:30 I wake up and he's still asleep. I should wake him up now, so he can get ready. I lift my head up. I look over and tap him on the shoulder.

"Wake up sleepy head, it's 6:30. We have to get ready." I said. He looked at me sleepily. "Good morning beautiful" he said. His sleepy voice is sexy. I think all young guys sleepy voice is sexy. He stretches and heads to the dorms, and I do the same. When it was time we all went down to eat.

Our now big group gathered at the tables and we are and laughed and talked about random things. Now I see why Fred and George liked them. They are funny. We are becoming closer and closer. We now call them by their nicknames. Prongs, Padfoot and Moony. It's a clique of good friends.

Peter aka worm tail, keeps being M.I.A. Probably secret death eater meetings with Lucious, who's a slytherin in our/ (marauders) year.

As time went on Lily still didn't accept James as her boyfriend yet, but we have a feeling she's coming around soon. A few months passed and she finally accepted and he couldn't stop jumping up and down. "Prongs calm down" I said trying to stop his jumping. I put my hand on his shoulder to try and get him to stop. It worked for about two seconds then he started to jump from couch to couch like a five year old. And Padfoot, giving in to his childish habits, joined him. It was funny seeing them so childish. About half an hour they grew tired and James fell asleep on the couch and Sirius fell asleep on the floor below him.

Aww. Two of my new good friends. Picture time. Click. I tapped James to wake him up and send him to bed. He kept snoring. Loud. "Prongs!" I shout. He jumped and accidentally fell on top of him, waking up Sirius. "Good morning Prongs. Now if you find mind will you please get off of me?!" Sirius asked. "Sure brother." He said as he got up and held out a hand to help Sirius get up. Once they got up and did a bro hug. "Calmed down?" Sirius asked. "Yeah thanks" James replied. James and Sirius turned to me. "Morning Mi" they Said at the same time. "Good morning boys. Sleep well?" I ask. "I did" James replied. "I didn't" Sirius said. "Sorry dude" James said. "Thanks man".

I linked arms with both of them and we walked out of the common room to the great hall for breakfast. We sit down and the others are already there talking. "Morning everyone" I said. "Morning" they all said as we sat down. We serve breakfast and eat while we talk about random things. After that we go to class then after class we meet up at the lake at the groups spot.

"Over the past couple of months have been great. We all grew close to you four. You are all my best friends. First only Harry and Ron but now all of you guys are my best friends and I'm thankful for that. Love you all." I say. "We love you to Mi. You Harry and Ron have become our best friends too" James said. "Group hug everyone." I say. Prongs, Moony, Padfoot, Lily, Harry and Ron all group hugged with me. I had the greatest friends. Maybe later on me and Sirius can become more than friends. I really like him. He's funny and sexy and a great guy. When we came here I liked Ron. Now I'm getting over him and liking Sirius more and more now. I lay back down and listen to the boys talk about quidditch. I fall asleep with my head on Sirius' lap and a smile on my face. I'm so happy and safe with my 6 best friends.
