Hermione sat quietly in the Gryffindor common room reading a book on time travel, while Ron and Harry played wizards chess. Ron, as usual was winning. Hermione pulled out her new time-turner and looked at it. She started reading the words on the side. She repeated it 3 times and she, Harry and Ron started to realize that the room was spinning around pretty quickly. Hermione then realized that it was a spell to send you and those around you back in time!
The golden trio huddled together and landed roughly on the floor of the common room and looked around. Luckily the common room was empty at the time. "What happened" Ron asked looking around the familiar but different common room. "We went back in time Ron" Hermione stated like it was no big deal.
"When are we" Harry asked looking around. "Let me check." Hermione said looking down at her time-turner. "I have bad news and I have worse news, which do you want to hear first. Hermione said looking at the boys. "Worst news." Ron stated. "Ok, the worst news is that we are stuck here until I find a way to fix the time-turner. "That's horrible! Ok we want the bad news now" Harry said looking worried. "We were sent back 18 years." She said calmly. "What?!?!?!" Both boys exclaimed. " we are in the past." Hermione said. "We are where?!" " the past. August 3rd, 1978. Your parents are in 6th year." Hermione said. "Aaaaaahhhhhhh" the boys scream.
"Ok let's put a Glamour charm so we won't look suspicious and we need to change our last names." Hermione said thinking. The boys nod nervously. "Ok I will have brown hair and black eyes and I will be Harry Lancaster, half blood." Hermione nodded and he transformed. She turned to Ron. "Ok brown hair blue eyes and I will be Harry's brother. Ron Lancaster. Half Blood. " Hermione nodded as she transformed him. " I will not transform or change my name since I am muggle born and my parent didn't go to this school." Hermione said and the boys nodded. "Now, we can't tell anyone about where or when we came from. Understand?" Hermione asked. "Yes" Harry and Ron said at the same time. "Good, let's go tell Dumbledore we are new students." Ron said. They all nod and head to Dumbledore's office. They walk out the common room and......run into the Marauders!
