Chapter 1~ First Day Of Highschool

"Sam!Sam!Come here,buddy!"A young Taurtis yelled out.

"C-coming!"Sam ran to his best friend's side as he was on all four position,looking down at something;a pit.

"Look,Sam!I think I found a bottomless pit!"Taurtis said.

"Ha!Yeah right!It could just be a pot whole! "Sam said,obviously not intrigued.

"No!Really!"Taurtis grabbed a little pebble and threw it into the pit,taking off his headphones to listen."Listen."

Sam did as told,his bunny ears reaching over to hear. Nothing fell. The pebble don't make a little plink!Nor at least hit something to make it echo back up. Sam was surprised.

"Wow!That's amazing,Taurtis!"Sam said,sitting down,crisscross.

Taurtis did the same,crossing his arms as he did so. He glared at Sam with a pouty face.

"And you said it wasn't. "Sam stared back,eyes wide.

"No!No!I'm sorry!I just.....I didn't have proof!"Sam said,shaking his hands in a motion.

"Humph!I still don't believe you!"Taurtis said.

Sam looked hurt."No,really, Taurtis. I-I......."He looked like he was about to cry.

"Oh,Sam!I am just playing!"Taurtis hugged Sam,and he looked confused as a single tear fell, his ears droopy now stood tall. Sam smiled and hugged his friend back.

"Now!Let's go!We only have five more minutes before the bell rings!"Taurtis said,getting up. Sam got up too with a smile. He caught something shuffle in his line of view and saw a green girl with red hair,wearing a school uniform. Sam smiled. He always had a crush on her. She always hung out with her friend, a white owl wearing a school uniform named SoulOwl. The girl Sam has a crush on is named SookieYaki.

"Sam?Sam?Hey,buddy!"The bell rang as Taurtis tugged on Sam's sleeve. Sam shook his trance away from Sookie and on Taurtis.His friend was smirking.

"You totally like her!"Taurtis said.

"What?!No I don't! "Sam said quickly, blush forming on his pasty skin.

"Ha!You do!Sam has a crush on Sookie!Sam has a crush on Sookie!"Taurtis teased.

"Taurtis!Shush!"Sam pleaded,blushing even more red.

"Oh,quit it,Sam!You know you do!"Taurtis said.

Sam glared at Taurtis,crossing his arms as the whole class watched them.

"What?Sam likes Sookie?"the teacher said.

"N-no I don't, Ms.Yoshi!"Sam said.

Ms.Yoshi giggled."Okay,then,Samuel."

Sam humphed and crossed his arms."It isn't Samuel, "he grumbled,his ears drooping.

"Come on,Taurtis!"Sam said,grabbing his friend's hand and running into the classroom.

Sam woke up with a start as his alarm clock rung. His childhood memory in his dream made him feel warm-hearted. He smiled and got up,turning off the alarm. He looked over to his still sleeping friend and smiled. He walked over."Taurtis!Taurtis!Get up!Get up!It's first day!Taurtis?"Sam said,nudging his childhood friend.
