As a little girl, Lucie loved to go on adventures. It didn't matter to her if she had to make up the majority of those adventures. She was always getting herself scrapes and bruises with the kind of things that she did. They were her pride, they were her joy.
One time, Lucie was watching Power Rangers with her older brothers. Afterwards, she became a Power Ranger herself and declared the neighborhood dogs as her enemies. Looking back, one could supposedly understand her reasons. Those dogs were the very peak of evil with nothing good left inside of them after being abused and abandoned by their owners. Everything that Lucie saw in them was what she saw her heroes fight everyday on television.
She picked multiple fights with these dogs. Sometimes she fought with one dog, and sometimes she fought against many. It should not come as a surprise to learn that Lucie lost every single dog fight. She never really stood a chance against them especially with that breeze that always seemed to be on their side and not hers.
Besides, every time she fought against those dogs, she felt something within her change and she didn't like it. Eventually, Lucie stopped fighting those dogs and grew up. She began to have more friends and less time to spend alone. She became more interested in her education and all the drama that shaped ordinary school life. Her childhood was behind her. She never even looked back.
