The next time Lucie found herself at the altar it was with the "real" man of her dreams and surrounded by all her friends and all her family. This time she wore a light blue wedding dress that she had picked herself. She was escorted to the altar by her father. She took Brandon's hand, her soon to be husband, and they both faced the minister.
It was a while before they were kissing to cheers in the background. The two turned and held their joined hands in the air. The cheers got even louder. They walked out of the church where rice was thrown on them. Lucie laughed when her veil was blown away by the strong winds.
For a minute, she was captivated by the flying object moving farther and farther away. Brandon regained her attention with some smooches. They rushed into their brand new car and drove away.
