~The hunt for blood-stained love~

Here, its not safe to be a girl. No matter what you look like, where you're from. They want you. They wish to use you, to own you, to control you. To make you their only food, only desire, only sustenance. They, are vampires.

Once, the world was a modern, thriving place, filled with all emotions, pure love and freedom. That certainly changed. They appeared, rearing their 'perfect' heads and menacing fangs. First, there was a few, they soon expanded to many. They now take up the majority of the population of earth. The year is 2108, The golden age of vampires.

If you are a human, you are in danger. The men will fight, rebelling against them, hoping to win victorious with our freedom as prize. The women, the girls...They are protected, hidden, by the males, as each vampire searches for their partner, their...mate. And, more often than not, they're human. It's terrifying, the thought of being taken, but, on the other hand, some humans gladly accept them, will agree to be with them, without struggle. Without resist. Without disobedience. These humans fall in love with the creatures, and surrender to them.

My name is Scarlett, I am not one of these pathetic girls. I am a fighter. And my name, signifies the last drop of blood that will escape my body as I die with honour, fighting...for freedom.
