"I know this is probably a bad time to be asking, you were probably asleep. But I was wondering if you would like to go to the amusment park with me tomorrow after school. I would've come earlier but i wasn't if you'd say yes." he said, and at his last sentence, even in the dark, i'm sure i saw his face turn a light shade of pink.
"Oh, i'm sorry. That's really sweet of you. I wish I could go with you tomorrow, but I have work after school." I said.
"Oh..I see. That's alright." he said looking down at the ground.
I felt bad that i couldn't go with him. I honestly thought it was sweet of him to ask me along. And on top of it he was afraid to ask me in the first place because he thought i'd say no. I didn't want to dissapoint him.
"But hey, i'm free this Sunday. We can still go together then if you want." I said trying to cheer him up.
He looked up at me with a smile on his face "Yeah, sure! That sounds great! So i'll, uh, see you tomorrow at school?"
"Yeah, see you tomorrow." I waved before he practically skipped away.
I giggled quietly at how happy he looked, then went back inside.
I walked back upstairs to my room and flopped down on the bed, this time falling into a dreamless sleep.
