My head hurts. So much. I attempt to open my eyes but only mange to squint at Charlie who I am cuddled into. No matter where we are when we fall asleep we somehow end up right next to each other.
Last week our friend, Layla, told us we are "More goals than most of the couples in our school" and if I'm being honest, she's right. We know every little detail about each other's lives and nothing goes unnoticed. Her parents are my parents and my parents are hers.
My head hurts too much to bother getting up so I decide to go back to sleep.
"Lily? Charlie?" I feel a gentle tapping on my shoulder and open my eyes a little. Jazz is sitting on my bed holding 4 paracetamols and 2 glasses of water. What a perfect little sister.
"Whaa?" Charlie mumbles, still half asleep.
"Take these just now and Mum and Dad will never know" Jaz whispers, handing us the glasses and medicine.
"This is why we love you." I mumble before putting the tablets in my mouth and gulping down my water.
"Lie for another half hour and then when you've got less of a headache we can wake mum and dad up." Jaz instructs, she may only be 9 but she's got the brains of someone much older.
"If I wasn't completely hung over I'd go get us McDonalds." Charlie moans.
"I wish, where's my phone?" I ask.
"Over here, I put them both on charge about an hour ago so they should have a good amount of charge." Jaz smiles, unplugs them and hands then to us, "Oh and also, Lily, you've got a message from some Brandon guy."
"I've what?! Quick give me my phone!"
I read the message and smile, it's so simple yet it fills me with happiness.
Hey, how was the party? I don't expect you to reply for a while now because I expect you're hung over and wish to sleep
"What are you smiling about?" Charlie questions, "Let me see!"
I show her and she 'awww's. I open it and reply
Hey, the party was amazing but I now have a really killer headache and could really go a McDonalds
He reads it almost instantaneously and replies
What do you want? We're going a run to McDonalds anyways
Are you being serious?
Am I ever not? What's your number and what do you all want?
"He is so in love with you!" Charlie exclaims.
"Hush now child." I blush and reply with my number. A few seconds later my phone starts ringing with an unknown number.
"It must be him!"
"Well no, I thought it was my Mum calling me."
I cut off her reply by answering the phone.
Hello?
Well hello! What can we get you?
Are you sure you don't mind?
If I did mind I wouldn't be asking now, would I? Be as greedy as you wantI giggle and reply
Okay, can we get 2 orders of pancakes, 2 boxes of 20 chicken nuggets and 4 portions of fries?
Hungry are you?
It's not just for me! There's 5 of us!
5?
Yeah, Mum, Dad, my little sister Jaz, Charlie and me
Wait, how did you all get home last night?
Charlie drove my Mum and Jaz in her car and my Dad drove his car. We got a taxi home and just left the cars
Do you need them brought back?
You can speak to my Dad yourself soon, he doesn't just let anyone drive his car.
Okay, what's you address?I tell him my address and he replies
No problem, we'll be maybe half an hour
See you soon
Bye!
Bye!He hangs up and I start squealing.
"Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh! I think I'm dying! This is too much to handle!"
"Breathe please, inhale, exhale and repeat."
I laugh and say "Are we really getting McDonalds personally delivered by Brandon Kingston? Somebody pinch me."
Jaz slaps me sharply on the arm, "Nope, definitely awake." She confirms.
"Well seeing as you're awake I'll go wake up Mum and Dad and tell them we're getting McDonalds." Jaz states and gets up to leave.
"Have fun." Charlie calls after her as she disappears out my door. I stand up and stretch.
"Question. How did I get into bed last night?" Charlie asks and I start laughing.
"We got in and within 5 minutes you were out. Basically unconscious. So I put your pyjamas on and wiped your make up off before getting you actually into bed."
"Everyone needs a friend like you."
"I know, I'm amazing!" I laugh.
"You sure are."
We get up and head downstairs, both of our heads still hurt and I really can't be bothered getting ready or anything.
My Mum and Dad come down the stairs and I make coffee, teas and hot chocolates for us all. About 10 minutes later the door goes.
"That'll be our McDonalds!" I say and jump up to get the door.
"McDonalds delivery." Brandon grins as I open the door.
"If only McDonalds did deliver." I sigh, "Come on in."
Brandon walks in, followed by Ryan and Cody, and I close the door behind them. We head into the kitchen and they sit the food down on our island.
"Grubs up!" I shout.
There's so much food, I'd forgotten how much I actually asked for. Charlie and I tuck into the pancakes with Brandon occasionally stealing some of mine and my Dad and Jaz stealing some of Charlie's. I could get used to this, a massive heap of food with us all tucking into it. My Mum and Dad laughing and Jaz annoying them, the guys joking about but not being rude and me and Charlie in amongst it all.
If everyday was like this I'd be so happy. Even if it was only every Sunday, it would make my life so much better.
We joke around for ages before the the guys offer to go pick up the cars. My Dad and Charlie agree and give them their keys.
"I like those boys, they're nice. I approve." My Mum jokes.
"Mother, you are truly a women of many words."
"Hush you, Charlie, you're not even my biological daughter."
"Mother! I'm offended!" Charlie gasps.
"I'm sorry dear, I have a sore head."
"That is no excuse for your harsh words!" Charlie wipes a fake tear from her eye.
"Come here," My Mum holds her arms open and gives Charlie a hug, "You may not be my biological daughter but I love you like you are."
The boys bring back the cars and sit and talk for a while longer. Brandon and I occasionally make eye contact with each other but not for very long.
The boys leave at about half 5 and Charlie decides she'll spend another night and borrow my uniform for tomorrow.
Today has been such a great day, we all got on so well and bonded amazingly. I can't wait to see the guys again tomorrow in school.
