My head was pounding and my stomach hurt. I woke up that morning feeling really sick. I rolled over to see if Derek was awake. Nope still asleep like a baby. I silently got out of bed and went into the bathroom, I looked in the mirror and was terrified! My makeup was smudged everywhere. But in that moment I accepted it. I went to go to the bathroom and realized something. My stomach is having horrible cramps and I have a headache... I'm on my period!! How could I forgot the worst time of the month! Anyways I quickly dealt with that and got dressed. I left a note on the bathroom mirror saying:
Hey sweetie, I am out at the drugstore getting some pain meds. I'll be home as soon as possible.

Hopefully he would read it before I got back. I raced downstairs to the parking lot and unlocked our black GMC Acadia.I hopped in and threw my purse onto the passenger seat. "Ahhh these stomach cramps will be the death of me!" Right when I pulled up to the store I shut the door and forgot to lock my car, but whatever. I ran up to the pharmacy table and requested some tylenol. "Hi, um I just got my lady thing and I need some pain meds." The nice lady handed me a bottle of liquid tylenol. "Thank you so much!" I paid and ran out the door.

I got into our apartment seeing Derek on his phone while watching a baseball game. "Hey honey." Derek looked over his shoulder and smiled. I put down my bag and sat beside him. "Hey." I laid my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes. I could feel him lay his soft lips on my forehead. He got up and I woke up from my daze. "Callie, today I was thinking I could take you out for breakfast, what do you think?" I bit my lip and smiled, "For sure." I ran up and hugged him. See I'm at least 6 inches smaller that him so he's more fun to hug.
