Chapter 6- The Ally

*Ace's Pov*

I watched as Claire left my house with a heavy heart. I looked at the others laughing and wondered if no one saw that.

I cleared my throat, "Don't you think that was kind of rude for ignoring Claire?"

Ariana and Clark looked at each other and shrugged, looking guilty while Jordan and Brianna laughed at me.

Brianna smirked, "When did you start having feeling for her?"

I glared at her, "I don't, and she just left the house with a frown on her face."

She laughed, "Whatever."

I rolled my eyes, and looked at Connor who stared at the door.

I asked him, "What are you looking at?"

He looked at me and shrugged, "I feel bad for Claire, and we completely did ignore her the whole time."

Mom came through the door, "You guys should next time talk to her."

Ariana stood up, "Let's have some cheesecake."

We all followed her to the kitchen where we got a piece of raspberry cheesecake.

I took a bite; to my surprise it was delicious.

I noticed everyone else having joyful emotion on their face.

Connor asked joyfully, "Who the hell made this?"

Ariana grinned proudly, "I did."

Connor look shocked, "You have to make me this for my birthday!"

Ariana laughed along with the others.

After we finished our cake, we went back to the living room where Ariana and Clark putted on their shoes.

"Thank you for the amazing visit! I really hope we can meet later on."

I just stared and walked to my room. I hate talking to people expect for the ones who I am close with.

I looked out my window and saw both of them going to their house scared. Why are they scared?

I shook the feeling away and started listening to Locked Away- R.City ft. Adam Levine.

It was peaceful until Brianna and the others barged into my room.

I glared at them, "What the hell do you want?"

Jordan spread out his arms, making his gang tattoo visible.

"Don't you think that family is suspicious?"

I sigh before nodding. "Yea, I feel like they are hiding something."

Brianna sat on my bed, "What do you think they are hiding?"

"I don't know but I will find out."

Connor sighs, "Yea. Anyways, your mom found a house yet?"

My mom has been staying at my house for a few months because she recently got a new job and needed a house near that area. In her luck, my house is near her job. I don't mind for her staying but she insists of finding a house for her.

"Not yet, she is down to 5 houses."

Brianna laugh, "So many choices I bet."

"You got that right."

Jordan suddenly stood up, "let's go to The Ally."

All of us started smiling; The Ally is a place where they sell the best sandwiches of all times. It has been long since we have been there.
