As Veronica packed her suitcase, she filled with more and more anxiety. She'd been living in the same place for 17 years, and her parents wanted a change.
"Mom, where the hell are we going?" She asked.
"A community that's safer than cities and still just as much fun! Sound exciting or what?" Her Mom said enthusiastically.
"Sure, whatever. This doesn't even make sense, I don't go outside! I'm not gonna get hurt, ever." Veronica said, frustrated.
"Just pack your stuff, you'll like it there, promise." Her Dad said, peeking his head through her doorway.
"Ugh, okay." She said.
As they got into the car, they made sure all of their things were packed and ready to go.
Veronica held her brown and black guinea pig, Chrisley, and fed it some baby carrots. Her guinea pig was the best pet she could ever ask for. He was so talented and chubby, she made her feel happy inside, even on her worst days.
