I was sitting at home waiting for Jason to come back from work.
I hope he had a good day because if he didn't he would take it out on me. Suddenly the front swung open and in came a smiling Jason. When he smiles it's hard to tell if he is in a good mood or not. But its not hard for since I lived with him for 3 years. The smile on his face right now told me he was up to no good.
"Hello Jessie." He said as he bent down to place a kiss on my forehead.
"Hi Jason." I said with a forced smile trying to hide my disdain and hatred towards him.
"I have something to give you." Before I had the chance to ask 'what' he gave me stapled packet.
On the top it read "Application for Montgomery Corporation"
I nervously looked up and asked, "You're applying for a new job?" Already knowing he is not.
"No I quit my job, but you are." He smiled like that was the most brilliant thing he has ever said.
I knew if I didn't agree he would call my father and that's not what I want to happen. So I faked excitement and said, " Oh my gosh that's amazing. When do I get to be interviewed?"
"At 12°clock this afternoon." Was his oh so amazing reply. Please note the sarcasm.
"That's in 2 hours Jason." I said trying very, very hard to keep the annoyance out of my voice.
"I know so take a shower, get dressed, and catch a cab there because I'm leaving in 5 minutes." He told me well more like demanded. But I just sat there lost in my own world. How was I going to apply for a job if I didn't know what it was.
"I SAID GET UP!" He yanked me up by my hair and literally dragged me up the stairs. I admit that it hurt like a b***h, but I wasn't going to give him the satisfaction of knowing he hurt me.
When we were in front of the bathroom door he pulled me up tightly by my wrist to the point where I knew that it was going to leave a bruise. And before I knew what was happening he drew one hand back and slapped my cheek full force. I had to suck in air to keep myself from screaming.
"Next time I say do something DO IT! you understand me?" I nodded and he let me go and went downstairs and I jumped when he slammed the door.
Sighing I went in the bathroom and stripped naked.
