The way he was looking at me was like how someone would look when they were pooping.
"Um...Sir is everything alright." I asked nervously. But he just continued to stare at me.
Finally he opened up his mouth and asked, "How would you benefit my company?"
"Well i was a business major and i always wanted to account or help in anyway to help a company grow." I said speaking with lots of pride because I'm taking about something i love.
"Well Ms. Parker you have the job." I visibly relaxed knowing that Jason's not going to be upset with me.
"Thank you sir, you will not regret your decision." I said clearly happy.
"I hope not to Ms. Parker. You will start your job at 8°clock tomorrow." My new boss said.
With that I got up to leave, but he grabbed my wrist and I winced because they were already bruised.
He let go and cleared his throat. He looked like he wanted to say something, but thought against it and sigh. With a wave of a hand he dismissed me.
Im glad he didn't ask about what happened earlier. Because well to put it simply that would have been a disaster. So today being Wednesday I start tomorrow which is Thursday.
As I was walking I realized I didn't text Jason and if i don't text while Im out he's going to think I left just like last time.
FLASHBACK
I was walking down the street from grocery shopping then I suddenly felt an buzz in my pocket.
I took the phone from my back pocket and saw that it was a text from Jason.
The text read 'You better get here you useless wh**e' after reading it I quickly ran back to the house knowing that whatever it is, it's something bad.
I finally arrived back at our old rundown apartment building and open the door to my apart.
Almost like an automatic switch went off my face paled and my body was frozen in place.
What stood in front of me was...
"Watch it." An masculine voice said snapping me from my thoughts.
"I'm so sorry." I exclaimed.
"Jessybear..."
