Third Person POV:

Jessica and Liam. Today was the 2 love birds anniversary. They had been together for 4 years. And it might sound cliché but for them it was nothing but the truth, everyday they fell in love with each other more and more, if there was a scale they provably broke the scale the first time they meet each other. But that's a story for another time. 

Now 2 years ago when Liam and Jessica moved in together, Liam had a nightmare. He dreamed of him proposing to Jessica but in the dream , every time he would propose Jessica would reject him and humiliate him, now poor Liam knew that wouldn't actually happen, but his conscious wouldn't leave him lone, so Jessica promised Liam that whenever she felt like both of them were ready to get married she would propose, which brings us to now.

A couple of months ago, Jess went shopping with Eleanor and Perrie to choose Liam a ring. They brought it but the thing is Jess found it weird to buy a ring for herself so she thought they could deal with that later. She wanted to propose straight away but it just don't feel right (GET IT!? FIRST PERSON TO GET THE PUN GETS A DEDICATION!) So she waited.

Today Jess woke up and she knew today was the day. Liam and Jess spent the whole day together, like they did traditionally on their anniversary. Wake up, make each other breakfast, for Jess waffles and for her cuddly Lima Bean pancakes every year they swapped but in reality they would end up sharing! Then they would take a cake to one of their exes houses as a thank you for breaking up with me otherwise I wouldn't have meet my significant other and sing we are never ever getting back together and basically humiliate them. Then they would go home and have a toy-story marathon but with the TV on, mute so they could dub the voices! 

It was an evening and Liam took them to a restaurant where they first meet, although it was posh, they both would love to go home and basically make fun of the people around them but the memories at the restaurant so when they went there it made the appreciate the time they had together.

At the restaurant after they ordered there was a 30 minute delay, so Jess took this opportunity. 'Liam we need to talk.' Jess started. 'And you don't need to worry, actually, er I think this is hopefully exactly what you want.' 'Babe are you okay?' Liam asked, worriedly. Jess didn't have anything plan so she just digged straight into it. 'Look Liam I have a problem, wait what? No I mean I hate my surname. Huh, this is going to take a while. Liam I love you with all of my heart and soul and I want to say that its been the best 4 years of my life so will you spend the rest of your life with me and marry me?' Jess breathed out. Liam looked shocked and gasped; 'You remembered your promise?' 'Of course, I would' Jess said with no hesitation. 'Of course I will marry you, but first I have to do something. 'Liam said and he got out of his chair. Liam went on one knee and got a ring box out as Jess gasped and he said: Jessica will you make me the happiest man alive and let me change your surname to Payne like you previously mentioned you didn't like your surname so WILL YOU MARRY ME AND LET ME BE THE MAN THAT OWNS YOUR HEART FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE?' They both dived in for a kiss as they exchanged rings and the whole restaurant was on their feet and that's the story of how the two way proposal of the Payne's worked!
