An Unrattled Queen;A Dark Queen is Born

With the realization that Helios was lost to her,Queen Rhea did the unthinkable. She called upon the power tucked away within her and the Golden Crystal. A dark power it's source was of course the dark emotions in her heart. She would have to exploit this power. And if this brought her closer to having her Helios once again. Then she would fall. Fall into the very depths of Hell for him.

Concentrating of unlocking the power hidden within her,Rhea welcomed the sudden rush of dark energy surge through her body. It was a very uncomfortable feeling yes,but it was worth it. For him. From afar Prince Altair shielded his eyes from the dark energy sensing the energy growing tenfold. His eyes widened at the thought. No surely his mother wouldn't be so rash to do that would she? Would she give herself over to the darkness leaving he and his sister alone?

Shaking his head Altair began to walk towards his mother. Pushing through the dark energy to his mother and what he saw was truly frightening. His mother sat her eyes glazed over as the dark energy swirled dangerously around his mother. Centered around her heart mostly. Hoping his positive energy would somehow combat the darkness, Altair wrapped his arms around his mother tightly begging his mother not to do this. Not to leave him and Astra alone for they had already lost one parent. And they couldn't lose another.

But it appeared his words fell on deaf ears the sudden force of dark energy forced Altair back. He gritted his teeth before watching his mother slowly rise to her feet. Maintaining her glassy eyed expression as the darkness continued to swirl around her blocking her from view.

Queen Rhea slowly turned around as her lovely dark blue dress dissipated and in its wake stood a long flowing black sheer off the shoulder gown. With dark purple accents. A long flowing purple train formed behind her. While at the top of her head her tiara was replaced by a black one. She then extended her hand before her as the Starlight Rod appeared before her.

Before her hand even touched the heavenly weapon,it's positive energy clashed with Queen Rhea's negative one. Queen Rhea flinched at the weapon glaring before forcefully placing her hand on it. Forcing her will to change the weapon into something more well suited for her.

A smirk appeared on her lips as slowly the rod was dyed black but before darkness could fully take over the rod it's remaining light expelled itself from the Starlight Rod and went in search for someone who was able to withstand it's light. Ignoring the fleeting light the newly born Queen Rhea held her new Starlight Rod over her head sending wave after wave of negative energy throughout the city. Turning even the cities pure hearted people into those who only acted on their desires. But no one's desire was stronger than Queen Rhea's.

No matter what she vowed to bring back Helios. No matter the cost. It would happen. Queen Rhea turned towards her son who stepped back fearfully. Not use to seeing his mother like this. "M-mother?"Altair whispered before his mother smiled evilly towards him before aiming the now blackened Starlight Rod towards him. "Goodbye,Altair."Queen Rhea said before sending a huge wave of darkness towards her son. Quickly he dodged the assault before regretfully running to the Castle of Elysion,looking for anyone who could help him.

But it appeared Neo Queen Serenity was already ahead of him for she had sent off her senshi to stop the cause. But would four senshi be enough to stop the raging of a fallen Queen?
