"The Haunted Mansion?!" I rose my voice.

I stared at the mansion with complete and utter shock. The Haunted Mansion. There was a dark anomaly, inside The Haunted Mansion?!

"You can't be serious!" I spat.

Sebastian took a step forward, swiping the Kimunicator from my hands as he raised the device in the air, a very familiar thunder cloud hovering overhead.

"Is that?--"

"It's not their leader. Whoever or whatever it is." he answered. "It's another Category Three." He tossed the Kimunicator back to me as Ben joined in on the huddle.

"If it's a Category Three, then we could be dealing with another body snatcher kind of deal. Just like Cosmic Ray went through."

"Do you think any of the ghosts know about it?" I asked him.

"Only one way to find out. Come on."

Me and Sebastian followed Ben up the front steps, standing in front of the large door. Ben knocked on the door, the handle banging against the wooden door. There was no answer.

"Maybe they're all asleep?" Sebastian suggested.

I examined the door, noticing a crack on the side. With a steady hand, I pushed my fingers against the door and it slowly creaked open.

"They kept the door open? I know it's suppose to be haunted, but... why?" I asked, raising a brow.

"I... I don't know." Ben shook his head with confusion.

"Well, we're not going to figure it out by just standing around here." Sebastian spoke up. "Come on, let's go inside."

Sebastian was the first to go in, pushing the door open as he poked his head inside, taking a quick scan before stepping into the main foyer of the mansion, Ben and I following behind him as I shut the door upon entry.

Once I shut the door, there was a sudden spark of light. The three of us looked up to see a giant chandelier, the candles on it sparking to life on its own.

"Okay, just a little bit creepy..." I muttered.

"Hello? Ghost Host?" Ben called.

"Anyone home?" Sebastian yelled.

There only response was a sudden clap of thunder and lightning, as raindrops could be heard from outside.

"Great, more water... Hey, will we turn into mermaids again if we get wet from the rain?" I asked suddenly.

"Until we figure out what's going on in here, we won't be going outside." Ben stated. "Let's take a look around, see if we can find at least someone who'll tell us what's happening."

"Is your Kimunicator still picking up the signal?" Sebastian asked, glancing over at me.

I took a look at the device, the screen flashing red for a brief moment before switching back over to the arrow.

"It's still going." I answered.

The boy patted me on the back with a grin, "Good," Right before gently pushing me forward. "Because you're leading this one."

"What?!" I shrieked, turning around to face them. "Why me?"

"Because you're the only one with means to track the Dark Anomalies, at the moment." Sebastian explained.

"Besides, I can't get into contact with Buzz in Star Command to get a exact lock on the coordinates." Ben added, raising his communicator in the air as it made a strange beep. "That storm outside is blocking my signal."
