Sebastian was the first to wake up from our sudden fall.

He slowly stirred, his eyes opening up nearly pitch blackness. He raised his head from the grey ground, taking a look around to see that he was in some kind of cave, or maybe perhaps a cavern of some sort.

As he slowly pushed himself up to his knees, he noticed his jacket feeling a little light. He patted the side, checking for something, and his eyes quickly widened.

"No, no, no!" He hissed quietly. "It can't be gone!"

He checked the rest of his jacket, inside and out. There was nothing in it. He began to frantically search the ground, looking for the possession he dropped. After searching for what seemed like forever, his hand caught something. He grabbed it, and held it up to his face, seeing the faint trail of green and pink smoke along a mirror.

He sighed with relief upon seeing it.

"Thank goodness. It's still intact."

He stuffed the mirror inside his jacket pocket, making sure it was a lot more secure this time. Once that was taken care off, he opened the palm of his hand, summoning a green orb as he used it as a flashlight.

"Ava? Avalyn, where are you?"

He ran down the tunnel, shoving his light left and right, searching desperately for his female partner. As he ran, he could feel the mirror inside his jacket pocket vibrating. He pulled it out, bringing it up to his face. The green and pink smoke was swirling around the mirror, the faded image of a black haired teen appearing on it.

"Ugh.... Sorry bro..." He muttered, tapping the mirror as the swirls vanished. "I can't talk right now."

He shoved the mirror back into his jacket pocket, and continued his search.

I let out a pain aching moan as I slowly opened my eyes. It looked like I was in a cave, but it's pretty dark to see.

"What happened? Sebastian?" I rose my voice.

"Ava!"

I turned around to see green glowing light coming from further in the tunnel. As the light grew bigger, and closer towards me, I saw the image of Sebastian, sighing with relief as I did so.

"Thank god you're okay!" I exclaimed with a wince.

"Are you hurt?" He asked me, carefully helping me up to my feet.

"My body aches, and I'm sure I have bruises in some places, but I'll survive." I answered.

"Come on, I'll help you get through this." He assured, taking my arm and placing it around his neck as he helped support my body, allowing me to stand.

"So, this is the Underworld." I assumed, taking in the lowly lit surroundings.

"Yep, this is it alright. I did some exploring while I was looking for you. There's a dock at the end of the tunnel. It should take us to Hades hangout." Sebastian explained. "With any luck, that's where we'll find Ben."

"And find out if the God of The Undead really is behind all of this nonsense with the Dark Anomalies." I added.

The boy nodded in agreement as we began making our way through the tunnel. Sebastian took it a bit slow for my sake, obviously caring for my well-being.

The two of us traveled to the end of the tunnel, finding the dock he was talking about. Water was a pale green, with the souls of the dead literally swimming in it, the light of the water reflecting on the ceiling and the walls.
