Gigi, a small, adventurous and brave girl. Never afraid of anything, always excited to try new things. today she learns about how, what, and why things cause impact.

"Ugh I'm SOOO bored! I've done practically everything there is to do in this stupid forest!" She kicked a small, chipped rock with her boot before she climbed a tall oak tree, staring off into the sea.

"*sigh* I wish I could just go somewhere new, somewhere where I was... Respected..." The rather small, frustrated pre-teen let out a cold sigh.. Remembering her past..

(Flashback)

"Pfft! Look at her! She's probably just as horrible as her mother!"

"That child is nothing but a disgrace to this island!"

"She doesn't even help with work! All she does is play in that stupid forest!"

Was all I heard on a daily basis... New, Old insults, everyday... Everyone in this miserable island hated me... But... I never knew why... All I got was disrespect and anger...

Even after offering to do everything in my power all I got was rejection.. Because of my mother living in infamy, everyone thinks I'm no different... That I'm just as a nasty of a rat as her... But... I wanted to be different... I wanted to be kind but... I... Couldn't..

Day after wretched day was the same... Beatings... Scolding... Being made fun of... Being chased away to where I thought I could be alone but... Wherever I went... The bullying and pain never stopped... There was no where I could ever run... No safe havens.. No... Peace....

I would always return to the forest with cuts, bruises, scrapes, whip marks and missing teeth... Even though I have managed to be lucky enough to find a spot where no one can reach me, I still feel... Attacked.. Every day... I can't escape this unbearable pain that is my life...

The tainted girl, sitting stained from memory on the cold, crisp branch of the great oak. Beginning to fall into a deep slumber, looking off into the distance.. Still with hope in her eyes, that one day.. Someone will understand...

(Dream)
(Gigi's P.O.V)

Where... Am I... It's... Really warm..? I begin to feel as if there is some strangely welcoming presence nearby.. It feels so... Warm and comforting..

I look up to find a silhouette of a very pale girl with soft, white hair and beautiful, piercing blue eyes..

"It's going to be ok.."

That's all I could make out of her soft almost, angelic voice before she began to embrace me... I can feel a single tear, forming from the corner of my right eye before I notice she is crying as well..

I hold her in a tight embrace, almost as if I'm hugging her, before I see her begin to fade away in what appeared to be small lights... They looked similar to... Fireflies..

(Gigi's P.O.V)

I wake up to a cold, hard lifeless ground... Damn... Did I move that much in my sleep..? But... Who was that..? Why did she have to disappear..? Why was I dreaming of her..? Why did she look so....familiar....?

I slowly and rather weakly bring myself up only to find a couple of animals surrounding me... They probably thought I was dead when I fell from the tree.. I shoo them away before heading to the Oceanside to clean up for the morning... I can't tell what this new feeling of... Hope...was but.. I.. Liked it... After splashing myself with the clear oceans water I head towards the dock...

Nothing new.... People commenting about me.... Not so silently judging me, just like every other day... I head to the ticket shop to get a boat to get away from here, and to try and find that girl.... Of course, I'm ignored... I take advantage of my "invisibility" and just head in line to board and of course... Nothing happens.. Sweet! Free boat ride! I can't tell what has come over me but something in the back of my head keeps saying..

"Save her.."

Prompted to go and save this mysterious girl, I board the boat for my time..

13:31 (1:31 p.m)

The boat pulls along near the boarding area with a slow pace from being gently drifted here by the waves of the coast.,

'Just on time..'

I thought to myself before trying to board but being ignored by everyone, I finally find a free cabin before dozing off... My plan: to get off wherever this thing takes me..
